π€¬ Do you know what I hate more than bad words?
A bad hook.
Before I produce any creative, I brainstorm hooks under each of these categories.
β¨ Solution
β¨ Problem
β¨ Curiosity
β¨ Identity
β¨ Shiny object
I then choose 3-5 favourites and roll them into dynamic creative tests.
The cool thing is each hook appeals to a market segment.
After testing, I find people naturally gravitates towards one of these five so I can then continue iterating.
