Now, let's be clear about one thing. You shouldn't be selling nonstop if you are a service provider.

Even though they gave you permission to do so, you still need to treat email marketing like a content creation platform.

They want to see a variety of emails from you, from the lessons you've learned, upcoming courses/services you have planned, and more importantly: your why.

Why did you choose the industry that you did, and why you are passionate about helping them reach their goals.

Then...selling becomes easier.

I'm not saying this in a 'stop posting content' kind of way.

Content is king but email is queen šŸ‘‘

All the people in your audience who showed interest in your offers will convert much quicker on email, and that's because:
šŸ’ā€ā™€ļøThey know who you are
šŸ’ā€ā™€ļøThey know what you do
šŸ’ā€ā™€ļøThere was something in it for them to join, and that creates reciprocity, which is a strong psychological principle that we all use on a day-to-day basis, consciously or subconsciously.

If you need an example, think of the last time someone did you a favour and you felt the urge to reciprocate it straight away, because it felt uncomfortable.

That's the same principle businesses use when they create a lead magnet. You offer value in exchange for an email address and then you keep the conversation going.

This way you stay top of mind and serve your audience all at the same time.

Most people chase follower count. I chase buyer readiness.

Because the truth is:

A warm audience with buying intent will always outperform a large audience that just… watches.

Lurkers don’t convert.

Buyers convert because they’ve moved through a journey with you.

And that journey isn’t random, it’s built through your content:

• Growth content to make them aware
• Nurture content to create trust
• Conversion content to activate decisions

When people understand what you do, who you help, and why it matters, the path to ā€œI want to work with youā€ becomes a natural next step, not a leap.

It's official now, you can only use 5 hashtags per post.

The main role of the hashtags has always been indexing your post in the right industry so the right people can see it.

But IG has developed a lot in the past years, and it's now used as a search engine just like Google/Tik Tok/Pinterest and it will find the right content for you.

What does that mean for you business though?

That it's more important than ever to write your content using the words your ideal clients are using to search for what they need.

The new algorithm, Andromeda, literally scans the user's activity and based on what they watch and how they word their questions so it knows what content to show them based on where they are on their buying journey.

So creating content for the different stages of their journey has become even more important than it previously was, because now the algorithm is by your side, pouring the right eyes to your content šŸ¤

Think of it this way, when you find a new product you may be interested in, I'll use speciality coffee as an example, you may Google something like
'how to find the best speciality coffee for my espresso machine' or
'is speciality coffee better than supermarket coffee?'
These questions are asked in different stages of the buying journey:
the first one is actively looking for the product
while the second one just discovered that speciality coffee can be a potential solution to their problem

šŸ’”Top tip: map out your buyer's journey and the questions they are asking so you can serve your audience at each stage

Wrong vs. right business planning 😬

Wrong way: taking each month as it is, falling behind on content creation while your competitors are everywhere, gaining trust and stealing the spotlight

Right way: Take your time to plan your business goals and reverse engineer how that looks like in your marketing activities.

Have you heard him saying ā€˜if you don't plan, you fail’?

It’s actually quite accurate.

Where to start?

Step 1: You need to write your goals down in a google sheet/doc or whatever makes sense for your brain (I use google Sheets).

Step 2: Then break down the small tasks you take every day that bring you closer to your goals.

Step 3: Choose the marketing channels that make sense for your business model and your offers.

Step 4: Plan the message you want to share on each of them, i.e. what email campaigns to send that month, what type of content to post, whether it’s to grow the account, nurture the audience, or convert.

This is going to give you a much clearer picture and a more focused start to your month.

By looking at these you'll get a pretty good idea of what offers are thriving on the market, where your offer could use a new strategy and how to position your brand as the go-to in your industry.

The secret behind content that connects? Market research.

Set your business up for success by truly understanding what your audience is thinking and answering their questions before they even ask them.

It sounds dry, it sounds boring, and this is why so many people skip it.

But it’s the difference between surface level content and content that actually connects and converts.

You don't need to read research papers to get the information that you need.

Here are the juiciest sources from my research process:

Reddit threads: Be prepared to save a lot of sentences in a google sheet because you’ll find GOLD

FB Groups: communities of people who join fb groups to ask questions about their problems. No wonder it’s on the list.

Just search your audience’s pain points as keywords in the search bar.

šŸ’”Top tip: Use the words from the sheet to describe the problem they have

Google: good old Google, never disappoints.Ā 

Just search on your niche and see the questions they come up with.Ā 

If they’re searching them on google, that means they need an answer for them, too.

Customer messages and feedback: How many times did you take a question or a complaint and use it to improve what you offer in your business?

If a question pops up multiple times, it’s a good sign there’s a demand for that service or product šŸ›

Where there’s demand there’s conversion.

This is how you nurture loyalty:
