Sole-traders, family businesses, partnerships and small chains with no more than 3 outlets can advertise here. My name is Kevin Alderson and I created this page. I am a reflexologist based in Jarrow town centre. I really want to see Jarrow, and indeed, all communities in South Tyneside, become vibrant and prosperous places to work and live in, with lots of small independent shops, tradespeople, sm

all-scale manufacturers. repairers, artists, singers, performers, therapists, family-run restaurants, etc, etc. This page is primarily for the benefit of small, independent businesses and people looking for goods and services offered by such businesses in South Tyneside. BUT this is not just another business listing page! It's also about community. Non-profit organisations in the area such as men's pie clubs, knitting groups, litter-picking groups, food banks, community centres, whatever, can also post here for free once a week, indefinitely. Please use this platform to either advertise your small business, or community cause, or to find those businesses and community groups if you live or work in the area. Let's all support each other! This is not my main business, so I will be promoting my reflexology business on here as well. I will follow the rules for its operation the same as everyone else. All you have to do to join is message me, agreeing to have your posts shared on this page. Joining for free will allow you to have one posts shared per week on the page. At the minute I'm just building the page, but additional, paid-for services with links to a website are planned for the future. In the meantime, just enjoy the free advertising! TERMS & CONDITIONS (FOR BUSINESSES)

1. Only sole-traders, family businesses, partnerships and small chains with no more than 3 outlets can advertise here. National chains are not allowed.

2. Your business must be based in South Tyneside borough, or you must have at least one outlet based there.

3. Your business must have a developed Facebook business page i.e with a banner image, posts, etc.

4. The free subscription allows you to have one post per every two weeks to be shared on this page.

5. Individual posts will be shared only once so new posts, with new images and text, will need to be created regularly on your Facebook business page if you also wish them to be shared regularly on this page.

6. This page aims to promote businesses that are fair to their customers and do a good job for the price they charge. Things can go wrong for any business-customer relationship, but if consistent complaints or comments are received about any business advertising on here then they will no longer be allowed to use this page to advertise their goods or services. The page owner's decision on such matters will be final.

7. No posts will be promoted that feature hate, violence, misogny, sexism, racism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia, sexual services, or po*******hy.
