Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting Sarah at Kin. Kendal to dive into her application for the North West Family Business Awards!

As a judge for this year’s awards, Annette spent time getting to know the heart of the business, from the operational logistics to their incredible food offering. With four children helping to run the front of house and other family members pitching in, they really live and breathe the whole family business thing!

We’ve been a bit quiet on here, but very busy behind the screens. From launching new websites to visiting waterfalls, here’s a rundown on some things we’ve been up to:

1. A new look for JSW for Horseboxes, Trailers & Show Jumps ✨
2. Celebrating birthdays in style! 🎂
3. Launching Libratum Books 📚
4. Our creative director visited us all the way from Vancouver so we took him to see the amazing waterfall in Hawes!📸
5. We took some new shots for the Lanes Vets website! Chilli was a top model🐾
6. Pancake day Billy-Bob's Parlour - we can't get over how good these were 🥞
7. Launching S B Farrell 📖
8. Client meetings with the prettiest backdrops in Ambleside 🌷
9. A trip to IKEA to secure the office goods and of course meatballs! 🇸🇪

At Net* we are proud to support the North West Family Business Awards. As a team, we support the marketing and systems behind the scenes, and we are happy to share that Annette is joining the judging panel again this year.

On Tuesday the judges gathered in person to review the applications before shortlisting and the upcoming judges’ visits. The standard of entries and the stories behind so many family businesses across the North West are always inspiring; it is an honour to be part of the process.

A big thank you to the hosts Rathbones for having everyone, and to the fellow judges for a lively, interactive and enjoyable day. Annette is looking forward to the next stage of judges visits and we are all looking forward to celebrating at the award ceremony in May!
