Illustrated envelopes sent by a very distant relative of Jill’s to another equally distant relative in the early 1900s. This is a sample of some 13 we have found during the clearing out the Camden flat of one of Jill’s cousins who died in early December. Some were sent when the writer was in England others from Cairo – we have found some photos of a P & O steamer so maybe he was crew. The postmarks seem to be around 1905 or thereabouts. Now donated to and in the care of The Postal Museum in London
