Colours, fonts, pineapples, all say so much about a person 🤣

People get known for various things; Steve Jobs always wore black polo neck tops, the Queen always had her Corgis, Well Emma Dunham has Golden Pineapples!!

Emma came to me with that "ick". The one where you look at your brand and it's just not right... But it wasn't quite a blank piece of paper that she gave me... It had a pineapple on it!!

It was an interesting journey with Emma; we started off on one path where the brand was called The Food Photography Mentor but during the course of our deliberations and designs, the thing that felt really right for Emma, was to drop that down and just be Emma Dunham.

We ended up with this really personal feel, some gorgeous colours and finally something that felt really right for Emma!

Day 22 and still going strong with my penultimate logo for the year!

I love this little Celtic owl! She's actually an upgrade on a logo I did several years ago for Helen Sparks!

That moment when you feel like your logo is just missing something, that it's not quite connecting. It's hard to explain but it's not pulling at your heart strings and it needs to change.
Well I'm here for that!

And I'm here for a returning client.

This is our third logo together and it was a joy to reconnect with Helen again.

As a project it was an interesting one because Helen didn't like my initial concepts. I was gutted. It's not that it never happens but it's quite rare. However, my promise is that I will deliver the perfect logo, and if that doesn't happen on the first try then we try again.

Sometimes it's easier to know what you don't like than explain what you do like so nothing is ever wasted. We took learnings from what wasn't right and boom! The magic happened and Helen just loved this little guy.

And in my heart, I knew as soon as I'd done it that this was The One.

So there you go, I'm not perfect. I don't get it right ALL of the time. But when I go wrong, I don't walk away, I reflect, rethink and go again. After all - designing logos is my favourite thing in the world, so doing it again really isn't the biggest hardship!!!

This is spectacular! Anyone who has met Grace knows that she is a one woman show!!

Master in the art of presenting, I really wanted to put her name up in lights and Grace Fogarty with her enormous sense of fun, confidence and showmanship was all for it!

This is the stuff she teaches! She empowers people to deliver sparkling presentations, that grab people's attention and helps them convert a 60 second networking pitch into sales!

Grace is literally an extravaganza of fun, humour and kindness!! And working with her is totally as fun as it sounds. I'm absolutely loving this new brand and working on the website that will go live in the new year is really exciting too! I literally can't wait to show you what we're cooking up there!

I'm definitely ending the year on a high here!!

Oh the absolute JOY of some people. The sprinkle of magic dust, the love of what they do and the kindness with which they do it.
This is my kind of client.

And this is Lisa Rees in a wonderful nutshell.

Lisa helps business women build and maintain their websites. It's a technical jungle that she makes so effortless, removing the confusion, the stress and the "tech-y-ness"!

I've been working with Lisa in the last couple of months on her new look, one that really captures her magical personality and the oodles of fun that comes with it.
