Running a business is not about competition it's about collaboration. If you can work honestly and transparently with your 'competitors' it helps their business and yours.

Recently Marie-Louise O'Neill of Lovely Evolution asked us (along with Maddie King of Graphic Mouse to help with a large book project. It was a fun and fascinating project to work on and the author Leon McAnally launches the book today!

So this year Pixooma is 10 years old!

To quote an oft used phrase it has been 'a roller coaster', but we made it this far.

A big thank you to all our customers, suppliers, partners, advisors and fellow networkers, we couldn't have made it without you.

At the evening meeting of The Business Community on Tuesday we brought cakes for everyone courtesy of Towcester Bakes . We won't be doing that at every meeting, but we have some great incentives to announce throughout the year to celebrate 10 years of Pixooma.

Lifeplus is a long-standing client and they have a charitable foundation that they support - LIFEPLUS FOUNDATION which helps with life-changing projects across the world.

We were asked to produce a map infographic detailing some of these projects, which we then adapted for , a large format , and a (A4 to DL) , shown here.

All of these elements were produced in multiple and so the design needed to be flexible enough to deal with 'Language Expansion' where some translations are up to 30% longer than the source EN text.

And this project had a new challenge - :)

It was great working with Gill Wallace, Marketing Manager at Northamptonshire Sport (one of several Active Partnerships in partnership with Sport England) again on this year's . This edition built upon the we created for them for 2022's report.

2Excel Aviation have only been a Pixooma customer for a couple of months, but we've already produced designs for three very different exhibition spaces, and we are currently working on graphics for a large, bespoke stand for an exhibition that will feature at the Excel in London later this year, with a stand design from Display Wizard.

1. Design for the backwall of a bar in the hospitality chalet at the Royal International Air Tattoo 2023
2. Design for the nine panels of a three-wall shell scheme at the Multi-Mission Expo

As we sign off 2022, our last bit of news is that we can announce the winner of our recent .

Cliff Bashforth of "Colour Me Beautiful" wins a free design for a Cover, feature spread and contents page.

We've already spoken to Cliff and given him the good news, and we'll be talking in January in more detail about his magazine so that we can create the design visuals for him.
