🌊 Nobody Told Me Ireland Had Beaches Like This... 🀯

This is Marble Hill Beach in County Donegal, and honestly, it feels like something you'd expect to find abroad.

Golden sand, stunning views across Sheephaven Bay, and plenty of space to relax, explore and let the kids run wild.

And the best part? The Shack Coffee is right beside the beach, so you can grab a coffee, iced latte, cold drink or a bite to eat while taking in one of the best views in Ireland.

If you're planning a summer road trip, Marble Hill Beach needs to be on your list.

I THINK DONEGAL'S BEST (AD) NEW HOTEL MIGHT BE HIDING IN THIS LITTLE TOWN... πŸ‘€

We were invited down to stay at the newly opened Nesbitt Arms Boutique Hotel in Ardara, and honestly, it exceeded every expectation we had.

The family room was brilliant. A large double bed for us, three single beds for the kids, TVs in both rooms, complimentary water, Freddo bars and snack packs waiting on arrival. It was one of those stays where you could tell they had genuinely thought about the little things.

The food was outstanding 🍽️
The breakfast was outstanding β˜•οΈ
And the staff couldn't have done more for us if they tried.

What also makes it great is the location. Step outside and you're right in the heart of Ardara, with local shops, a Chinese takeaway, pizza takeaway and chip shop all within a few seconds' walk.

The hotel has only been open around six weeks, so everything still feels brand new, fresh and finished to a really high standard.

For transparency, this was a gifted stay, but I checked their website before posting and a family room was showing from around €220 on a Wednesday night when I looked.

County Donegal is one of the most beautiful places on this island, and if you're planning a family getaway, weekend break or road trip, I'd seriously consider getting this place booked before everyone else discovers it.

I'd genuinely say it's one of the best hotel experiences we've had... and that includes foreign holidays.

Save this for your next Donegal trip and send it to someone who needs a weekend away.

I thought I was stopping for a coffee.

Then McBrew went and handed me one of the best acai bowls I've had in a long time πŸ€€πŸ“πŸ«

Fresh fruit. Proper quality ingredients. Great coffee. Friendly staff. And a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than planned.

If you're heading through Ardara, this place is an absolute must-visit.

We drove all the way from Belfast for it... and honestly, we'd do the journey again tomorrow.

(AD) We went To Donegal For This... β˜•πŸŒŠ

And honestly, I'd do it again tomorrow.

Sitting right beside the beach in Dunfanaghy, this place is the perfect stop whether you're heading out for a coastal walk, a family day out, or just fancy escaping for an hour with a coffee in hand.

We grabbed coffee, soaked up the view, watched the waves roll in and honestly, it doesn't get much better than this.

The person responsible for the stabbing in Belfast should face the full consequences of their actions.

But one person's actions don't represent an entire race, nationality or community.

What I've found strange is seeing people suddenly talk about unity and standing together when something like this happens, while many of the divisions that have existed here for generations are still very much alive.

Northern Ireland knows better than most what hatred, division and blaming entire groups of people can lead to.

We should be able to condemn crime without condemning innocent people.

And we should be able to stand against racism while also demanding accountability from anyone who commits violent crime.

Yes the government should be vetting for mental health issues, criminal history etc and they clearly aren't, so I am also angry, as a society we want to be safe but let's be clear, we have peados, drug dealers, rapists, murderers walking the streets of this country, yet if this was a white on white crime,Β  you would not have so much as bat an eyelid.Β

If you are at these protests to demand better vetting from the government I respect that, if you are there because your a racist, or someone who has hate in their hearts for different nationalities click unfollow as clicks, follows and likes dont mean nothing to me, keep your hate and racism to yourself.
