We’re training for the Great Scottish Run next month to help fundraise for . Laura is training hard several times a week to get herself running fit and she is doing a stellar job with fundraising (which she excels at!). I’m trying to run a 5k 2 or 3 times a week and need to get the message out there that we’re fundraising for motivated by a determined and inspirational young girl called Ava…

Around this time last year, our friends Claire and Mark’s daughter Ava was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) aged just 5 years old.

Ava has undergone months of intensive treatment, including chemotherapy, blood transfusions and lumbar punctures.

Thankfully, Ava’s cancer is now in remission, but her treatment will continue until October 2025.

Young Lives Versus Cancer has been there for Claire and Mark from the start, providing emotional support, practical advice and resources. From regular phone calls to check in on our well-being, to financial advice and information packs for Ava’s teachers when she returned to school, Young Lives Versus Cancer has helped their family and thousands of other families navigate the cruel and challenging world of cancer.

NEW GLASVEGAS WEBSITE

Continuing our longstanding collaborative relationship with our favourite Scottish band - Glasvegas, we’ve recently designed and developed their new website. www.glasvegas.net

Based around the creative for their latest album GODSPEED, with illustrations to accompany the songs by James Allan, the website aims to give fans everything Glasvegas from live show tickets to mailing list subscription, videos, album discography and band merchandise in a no nonsense, simple and visually impactful way.
