So I read the wait is finally over. “Orla! The quirky, gory, h***y horror” from .bear and is out now!
It’s been awhile but sometimes when I read something…there’s just this compulsion to draw. Almost like the drawing is IN my hand and needs to get out. When I read the first issue of Orla! that was exactly what happened. There was an idea but I toned it down and ultimately wanted to go for a Hulk-like homage which worked pretty well I think.

Last minute notice on my part but it’s the last ever Glasgow Comic Con today at the Royal Concert Hall. GeeK illustration will be there at table C23 in the Clyde Foyer.
