Function meets fury. These intakes feed one of the wildest V12s of the ‘90s — guess how many turbos it’s cooling? 🔥

The Bugatti EB110 SS featured a 3.5-litre engine with 60 valves - five per cylinder (three intake, two exhaust), which was highly unusual and incredibly complex, even by supercar standards.

Only 31 ‘Supersport’ models were made and we shot one that wears the VIN 0001.

The carbon-fibre monocoque rocket hit 220mph and could do 0–60 mph in 3.2 seconds, which was quicker than the McLaren F1’s 3.4 seconds 💨

Is it an Audi? Is it a Porsche?

The RS2 Avant sits somewhere between. Porsche developed the chassis, brakes, suspension and wheels. The car was even assembled at Porsche’s Rossle-Bau facility in Zuffenhausen —the same factory that built the 959.

The 17-inch wheels came from the 911 Cup car, the mirrors were taken from a 964 Turbo and the brakes carried Porsche branding.

One of one. A Pagani Huayra Epitome blasting across the lake of St. Moritz.

The AMG developed twin-turbo 6.0-litre V12 paired with a six-way titanium exhaust sent noise ricocheting between mountains.

It rocks a seven-speed manual gearbox and this hypercar space weapon has 864 HP, limited to 217.5mph.

Pagani’s CEO, Horacio Pagani, describes the Huayra Epitome as the “pinnacle of Pagani street cars”.

In Quechua (A language developed 4,500 years ago in Peru), “Huayra” means “wind god” referring to the Andean wind god Wayra Tata. The exposed blue carbon fibre aerodynamic body makes it worthy of the name.

This photo was taken on my last role of Kodak Portra 400 loaded into a Canon AE-1, with only a few chances left to snap this exceptional beast I’m just happy it exposed correctly amongst snow white light. Manual settings always win.
