A perfect example of how people and businesses should be marketing themselves and their products.

'Passionate' is an understatement. ❤️🍪

As something of a biscuit fanatic, Barry's product description left me salivating.🤤

On Iain Lee's new show on BBC WM95.6 a lady is describing her reasons for parking in a Disabled Bay. Barry calls in to put his own take on it and to extol th...

💥Potentially BIG Changes to how we all use Social Media Platforms💥

Instagram are currently running a trial where the number of 'likes' on posts is hidden.

It feels like a mammoth shift to me and I certainly don't have all the answers. In fact, this news throws up more questions than answers!

The reason for the change is supposedly due to the negative social impact of 'likes'.
Is this really the only reason or is it a strategy move to increase ad revenues?

What impact will this have on the Instagram Influencers?

They can share their data (you can still see how many 'likes' your posts receive) with Businesses and Brands but surely it impacts how they produce content - will it push them to engage more with their audience through comments?

Will everyday users post less because people won't be wowed by their high number of 'likes' OR will users post more because the social pressure of receiving fewer 'likes' is diminished?

Will Facebook follow suit and remove all visible audience 'likes' too?

What do you think? Will it happen? How will it impact Social Media?

Watch This Space!!!🎯

P.S. If you don't leave a comment, at least give this post a 'Like' before they all go behind closed doors! 🤣

Business owners can sometimes struggle with the marketing side of things. You started the business because you had a passion for what you do. You knew you would over deliver for your customers but then you quickly realised the challenges involved with doing it all yourself.

Where are you supposed to start with your marketing efforts?

Should you:
Concentrate on Google? 🔎
Focus only on your website? 🕸
Deliever local flyers? 💸
Put ads in traditional media such as newspapers?📰

The truth is that all of these strategies can be effective for your business if executed well BUT the starting point should ALWAYS be your perfect customer!

Your perfect customer is the person that you speak to through your marketing strategies. People often make the mistake of being too broad and trying to speak to everyone but this often has the opposite effect and fails to resonate with anyone at all. Leaving your business with no leads and no sales.

Make them as real as possible, even base them around the best customer currently in your business.

What are they called? 📛
How old are they? 🎂
What s*x are they? 👨👩
Where do they live?📍
What are their passions? ❤
Where do they spend their time?⌚

🎯 The customer should ALWAYS be the starting point for any successful marketing campaign. 🎯
