I don't think most small businesses need more content.

I know that might sound strange coming from someone who manages social media for businesses.

But when I look at a page that's not bringing in enquiries, my first thought isn't usually, "they need to post more."

Quite often, they're already posting.

They're sharing finished jobs.
They're showing their products.
They're telling people when they've got availability.

The problem is, there's very little helping someone decide, "I'd choose them."

Where are the questions their customers are already wondering about?

Where's the proof?

Where's the personality behind the business?

Where are the little things that make someone trust them before they've ever sent a message?

That's the part I spend much more time thinking about when I'm planning content for my clients.

Not how I can fill another space on their page.

But what does someone need to see, know or feel before they'd actually choose this business?

Sometimes that means posting more.

Quite often, it means making the posts you're already putting out work a lot harder.

A day behind Infinity šŸ¤

What you see: me and my computer.
What’s actually happening: a lot more.

Planning content.
Looking at what’s working.
Thinking about what your customers actually need to hear.
Writing captions.
Creating graphics.
Scheduling posts.
Checking results.
And working out what we do next.

Because managing a business page properly isn’t just about finding something to post three times a week.

There needs to be a reason behind it.

Every post I create has a job to do. Whether that’s helping someone discover your business, building trust, answering a question, showing your expertise or giving them a reason to enquire.

And that’s probably my favourite part of what I do.

Getting to know a business well enough that I can sit down at my computer and think:

Right. What does this business need from its social media next?

That’s the bit you don’t always see behind an Infinity post.

But it’s where most of the work happens.

If your social media currently feels like another job on an already very long list, send me a message. I’ll happily have a chat about what I’d do differently. šŸ¤

I think I’ve spent so much time talking about what I do for other businesses, I’ve forgotten to talk about why Infinity matters to me.

It started as something that was mine.

Something I could build around my family, around work and around a life that was already pretty full.

But somewhere along the way, it became more than that.

I genuinely care about the businesses I work with.

I notice when the enquiries start coming in.

I get excited when a post performs better than expected.

I watch the follower numbers grow.

And when a client tells me they’ve had their busiest week, or suddenly they’re getting enquiries they weren’t getting before, I probably get far too excited about it. šŸ˜‚

Because to me, they’re never just another page to manage.

There’s a real person behind every one of them, trying to make their business work.

And I know exactly how much that can matter.

So yes, Infinity is my business.

But I think the reason I care so much about making other businesses visible is actually pretty simple…

I know what it feels like to need people to choose yours.

This probably isn’t the photo you’d expect to see on a social media manager’s page.

But it’s actually a big part of why I run Infinity the way I do.

When I’m not working on content, you’ll often find me doing something like this.

Working alongside Wayne in our other business means I see the other side of marketing every single day.

The customers.

The quotes.

The jobs running over.

The phone ringing when you’re already busy.

And the fact that posting on Facebook can very quickly become the thing you’ll ā€œdo laterā€.

I’m not looking at small businesses from the outside and telling them what they should be doing.

I’m living it too.

And I think that’s changed the way I approach social media completely.

I don’t believe businesses need to post for the sake of posting.

I want to understand what you’re trying to achieve, what your customers actually care about and create content with a purpose behind it.

Because behind every business page is a real business that needs customers, enquiries and ultimately, income.

That’s the part I’m interested in.

The busiest businesses aren't always the most visible.

And that's something I've noticed time and time again.

Some of the most talented business owners I know are so busy looking after their customers that marketing becomes the last thing on their mind.

Not because they don't care.

Because they're doing what they do best.

The irony is...

The businesses that deserve to be seen the most are often the ones people see the least.

That's why I believe marketing isn't about posting more.

It's about helping the right people discover your business, understand what makes you different and remember you when they need you.

Good businesses deserve to be seen.

Nobody starts a business dreaming about Facebook posts.

They start a business because they love what they do.

Helping people.

Building something they're proud of.

Creating something that's theirs.

Then reality kicks in.

Customers to look after.

Quotes to send.

Invoices to chase.

Messages to answer.

A business to run.

And somewhere in the middle of it all...

Marketing becomes another job.

Another tab left open.

Another thing you'll "do tomorrow".

I've worked with business owners for years, and one thing I've noticed is this...

The businesses that deserve to be seen the most are often the ones with the least time to show people why they're so good.

That's exactly why I started Infinity.

Not to add more to your to-do list.

To take something off it.

Because I believe marketing should help you feel less overwhelmed, not more.

And I believe every good business deserves the chance to become the business people choose first.

Running a business can feel lonely sometimes.

One thing I've noticed from working with business owners is that everyone sees the finished result...

The busy diary.

The happy customers.

The social media posts.

What they don't see is everything happening behind the scenes.

The long days.

The constant decisions.

The pressure of making everything work.

The responsibility of knowing people are relying on you.

It's no wonder marketing often ends up at the bottom of the list.

Not because you don't care.

Because you're busy running the business you've worked so hard to build.

That's exactly why I started Infinity.

I wanted to help business owners feel less overwhelmed, stay visible and know that their marketing was in safe hands.

Because I believe good businesses deserve to be seen.

If any of this sounds familiar, I'd genuinely love to hear about your business.

One thing I've noticed...

Most businesses don't lose enquiries because they're too expensive.

They lose them because the conversation stops.

Someone sends a message.

The business answers the question.

The customer reads it.

And that's the end of the conversation.

Something as simple as...

"Would you like me to get that booked in for you?"

or

"Would you like me to send over some available dates?"

can completely change the outcome.

Sometimes people aren't saying no.

They're just waiting for someone to guide them.

One small question can be the difference between an enquiry and a customer.
