This will be a sad week in the office, with Adam leaving for his new job! However, we are so excited to see Adam moving on with his career where he gets to work a bit closer to home. Here's what he had to say about his experience with DA:
I started DA in September 2020 as an Apprentice Designer. From the get-go, I was thrown into live client work (one of my first tasks was to create a re-brand for a Hull-based radio station) and immediately developed my skills way quicker than I thought I would.
Within the first couple of weeks, I had already learned a s**t ton more than I had in the entirety of my two years studying Creative Media Production at college, which felt insane to me at the time. For me, learning on the job and being trained by the best in the industry was the best experience a person could have to reach their best potential.
Eventually, I began working on every aspect of design (print, socials, branding, proposals, real-world concepts, you name it!) and was offered the role as a Junior Designer 6 months before my apprenticeship course was due to finish, and I’ve only progressed even further since then!
My time at DA has been amazing and has given me the opportunity to work on so many creative projects for great clients alongside a wickedly talented group of people. I truly can’t emphasize enough how much I’ve developed both as a person and as a professional since starting in such a short amount of time, and I can’t wait to step-up even further down the line
