Yogi Oils 🌿🤍

Because you have all been asking...

The scents that fill the room, oils that make you feel, products that support you. I've had sooo many questions recently about the oils, mists and products I use.... Yogi Oils always... except for the insense in class but that's also Katrino inspired and if she made one it would be hers burning. Oooo she does a loose insence that comes with me to outdoor events... she does it all!!

I take them with me everywhere, I use them daily, they have been such a support to me and it's why I share them. They have become a big part of who I am and my brand. Even the perfume I wear is plant perfume from Katrino. This isn't an ad, I have bought from Katrino for over 7 years, even been to experience, events and retreats with her.

I whole heartedly believe in the brand and I don't know how she does it but the scents are always incredible and exactly what you need.

OOO ~ Out of Office ✈️💌

Since I started Yoga by the Lune 7 years ago I 've never really switched off from it. It feels so much easier when we are employed to set that out of office reply and put it all down, tuning back in when your scheduled time is over. But when you have a little business it doesn't seem as easy but it is possible.

Because the fear of not been present in business or online for a week is real and why? Maybe it's because we live in a world where we are now bombarded on the daily, there is so much going on and lots to remember. So, will people remember your offerings, to tell people about them and more importantly to book?

And in a very instant society will people wait for a reply or will they choose to go elsewhere, will I miss an opportunity because they didn't hear back whilst you were away and your a one woman band, so there's no one else.

But we all need a break, we weren't built to be switched on and plugged in 24/7.

For the first time I've switched my OOO on - see you on the other side.

I might choose to share some bits of hols along the way but my intention is to switch off, be in the moment to enjoy this precious time with loved ones, reading books, food, walks, swims, new sights, culture, yoga, sunsets and more...

All classes, events and more are in the links in the usual place. A new class starts when I return on Sunday 20th Sept, weekly classes are back on 22nd Sept and i'll be back for more coffee + yoga, as well as a gorgeous autumn equinox retreat 🫶🏼✨️🤎

A New Class ⚪️🧘🏻‍♀️💫

Essential Sundays ~ a combination of Yoga + Myofascial Release. Starting on Sunday 20th September, 9am The Bakery at No.4

Think monthly maintenance, a massage without the cost, time to reset, move in a different way, create more easy, reduce tension, expand your capacity by reducing the holiding, a gift of uninterrupted time.

The perfect antidote to life, so you can be at your best.

This 60 minute class combining the two modalities of yoga and myofascial release are complementary practices to creating space in the body, targeting the connective tissues that wrap like a web throughout the body, specifically focusing on the fascia of the muscles to release tension, increase movement / mobility and restore balance.

An essential practice not to be missed - it's so good. Especially if you sit at a desk all day or have a really active lifestyle. It's been a game changer for me.

This is a monthly class - you can book individually or get Sept, Oct, Nov + Dec for less by booking them as a course.

Tonight ~ Tuesday Night Yoga 🌙

Supporting your weekly wellbeing. Yoga gives you an intentional pause to become more present without distractions, to move your body in a different way, clear your head a little, to support yourself in life, offer more awareness, expansion and ease. Often a great nights sleep will follow this too.

I draw on various styles of yoga and the seasons to bring you a nourishing flow + rest, you'll get both. Curated with music + scents to make your body feel like it just took a big sigh, the best!

Every week 6:15pm Enclave | Wellness Studio | Reformer & Yoga | Kirkby Lonsdale a gorgeous studio space, welcoming and calming sanctuary overlooking the Yorkshire countryside. Providing you with everything you need for your practice.

Asana (postures) can be adjusted, modified or changed for injuries, body types and how you feel on the day. You will be shown how to use props and the benefits they can have for your practice, so you know why and when to use them.

Sometimes I offer hands on adjusts not because you are doing it wrong but to offer a new way of being or feeling.

Spaces are limited to 10 people.

Sunday's morningkendal ☕️🧘🏻‍♀️

I've delivered two sessions at Morning Kendal now and the community that is forming is lovely to see. That feeling of waking up on a sunday to do yoga and have coffee with pals is what slow sundays are made for.

I love collaborating with local like minded businesses and brands that have a passion for what they do.

Red Bank Coffee Roasters is more than just coffee, their ethos, values and community first approach is at the heart of everything they do and I'm really grateful to be a some part of that.

The Other Side 🏋🏻‍♀️

I love movement in a lot of different forms. I've been back for just over a year now ~ I've gone from being worried about picking up a bar, box jumps and running, to smashing PB's and doing skills I didn't think I would be doing again.

Last night... a PB C+J of 55kg

The process isn't always easy, there are fails, frustration and wins.

The best part is doing it with a crowd of people that cheer you on whatevee your level and want you to win.

I didn't want to go to yoga last night, no bone in my body wanted to, which isn't like me. But I went. It's a non negotiable in my week, a day where I don't need to decide, it just is and has been for years. I arrived and set myself up at the back, I wanted to drop into the background, to go unseen. I modified some of the practice and pushed other parts when it felt good. I got upside down, I flipped my perspective and it cleared my head, which has been overspilling for a while now. I got home and felt more at ease, I slept better and I had more motivation for a new day.

The practice doesn't need to be perfect, it's perfect for you on that day. Because as Pip Roberts often says, drawing on Tantrik yoga philosophy "we are perfect and ever-evolving".

And the key, it's for you always!

Something Beth Mason - Online Fitness Coach for Women 40+ helped me do when I worked with Beth is plan your non negotiables, so you don't get decision fatigue, your not deciding, it is booked in, it's happening and you won't regret it. Creating a base line plan that supports you, providing you with a system that is going to increase your energy, increase your capacity and shift your base line happiness. Each Sunday night I plan my week out but I already know I am going to yoga and the benefits it brings for me.
