We're building a new display showing the history of typewriter development. This is a beautiful machine made by the Noiseless Typewriter Co. in 1923. It's in stunning condition and fully working, just needs a new ribbon.

New in the restoration queue, although I've already started working on it, is this lovely Oliver (Batwing) No. 11 typewriter.

It was donated today and is in a sorry state, missing some screws, one key cap is missing, one foot missing, several bent key arms and the carriage spring is snapped. I'd like to have this one working again soon though. 😁

😁 "minimum" is such a good looking yet impossible to read word when typeset in any Blackletter based typeface.
