When And When Not To Use The @ Followers Sign ?

This is a big of debate on Facebook at the moment

So many Facebook Followers are airing their frustrations about pages overusing the @ followers notifications features.

So when should you use this feature and when maybe not a good idea.

Every business is different, every client audience is different, and although it can be tempting to use these sort of features daily to try and get engagement or more sales.

It is important to always consider what is going to attract or repel you audience?

And to think about what type of content you are actually posting and adding the @ followers too.

For example if you are a thought leader selling high end coaching program to high end clients over using the @ followers feature will often go against the archetypal beliefs of that audience.

Some high end coaches think you should never use that feature.

If you are business that shares a lot of really helpful, high value content, deeply informative, thought provoking like deep articles, blogs that most of your audience are interested yes using a weekly @ followers comment on your best content can make sure your audience see your posts.

Doing it everyday maybe complete overkill.

If you over use this feature for any audience, a lot of your idea audience will starts switching of all notifications.

For example I like to support many of my past clients and students, but that is a lot of people and even though I want to help support what I can. I do not want to get hundreds of @ followers notifications on my feed.

I mainly go on to social media to do business and I occasionally buy something I see on Facebook but I don't want to be served those products everyday, helpful content maybe.

But I don't want my feed saturated every day with things to buy... so I don't want to get a notification everyday from a business I have bought products from.

Now Facebook Groups where you are sharing high value content, challenges etc are different. You may need to use these notifications to make sure your audience sees each daily task.

But people add me all the time to Facebook groups where they are only selling physical products that I might buy once or twice a year.

So they are the last thing I want to see notifications every single day.

We are all running different types of businesses, the key in making the best marketing decisions is seeing your marketing strategies through the eyes of the consumer.

Are you attracting or repelling?

Are you building connection and trust or are you just selling?

Some Of The Things I Would Probably SELL If I Wasn't In The Holistic And Spiritual Sector 😜

I would start selling or even manufacturing products for women under 5ft

Like cotton tights for women who were petite in height but not in breadth 🤣

We all know the dilemmas of tights, but when your 4ft 9 and a wee bit, you have to either buy kids tights which you have to hope and pray they don't rip at the gusset as you start to move up towards the thighs.

Or buy supposedly petite adults tights that roll like leg warmers around the ankles 🥹

And then there's ladies shoes I am a size 1.5 here in UK and trying to actual nice shoes, nice boots especially when I was in my 20's, 30's, 40's was a nightmare.

Now I don't have a need for too many fancy shoes but it's still a struggle to get something I like.

Then there is things like office chairs that are actually comfortable, don't break the bank or don't make you look like a young gamer.

Good Quality Dinning Tables and chairs that are adjustable...

These are all great niche markets because they provide a solution to the challenges so many women like me face that there is few solutions for.

The more you can solve a BIG problem for your audience that they struggle to find the solution for, the easier it is to sell and be successful.
