There’s so much more to wedding content creation than just turning up with an iPhone and pressing record.

There’s a whole background of skills, practice and investment that goes into creating content.

It’s noticing the little moments that others might miss.

It’s the moments before they happen and being ready to capture them at exactly the right time.

It’s understanding how the lights working, getting the movement right and trying to tell a story through this all.

And while my iPhone is such a valuable tool, it’s definitely not the only one I use. I also use professional camera equipment, because sometimes an iPhone won’t always get the best footage (external factors like light, atmosphere, my position)

Great content isn’t about just having a phone.

It really is all down to the person behind it.

This is a question I get asked a lot, and honestly it really depends on what you’re looking for from your day.

In no way does a content creator replace a videographer and vice versa, it just totally depends on what you want from your wedding day. 🫶🏼

Do you want that polished keepsake video you watch on special occasions, or do you want all your special moments easily accessible in your camera roll - truthfully - most people want both, I definitely would!!
