Sorry for ghosting you

I’ve been a busy little bee these past few months!🐝
If you have been following me for a while you will know that I travelled to London in April to pitch my project idea with my project partner Tammie. We were so lucky to be offered funding for our project and to no surprise it’s taken over my life a little bit👀🌱

So I had to let LOMO take the back burner… I still work with my two clients but I’m no longer on the hunt for new clients (sorrryyyy)

But, being the crazy woman that I am I saw an opportunity to volunteer with and I just had to apply! I’m so happy to join their team of creatives and work alongside them as a content creator. Super excited to get stuck in and constantly annoy them all with silly little TikTok ideas.😎

I promise I won’t be as absent on here anymore, I just had to figure out how I wanted to structure my little life first before I burnt myself down to the ground by accident😭

I miss you all though, What have you guys been up to?

I just hit 500 followers!!😳✨

I know that’s not the biggest follower milestone but considering I’ve been taking things slow with this account even the small wins feel massive for me.🍃

My main priority is focusing on my clients and educating myself further as a social media marketer and manager.📲

I’m only a year into this so there’s massive room to grow and I can’t wait to see where things take me 🙌

These things really changed my life….

I’m so incredibly grateful for every opportunity i’ve had these past 12 months to learn and grow.🤍🌿

It’s only baby steps in my business and let’s be real if you’ve been following along you know i didn’t properly commit to LOMO until August of last year 😅

So what did i learn?
1. Time management and routine:
Put time aside every week for doing work for your small business. I know a lot of us are in the same position juggling two jobs to make things work. It may be a bit confusing at first but you’ll find your rhythm i promise ⏰📚

2. Quality not Quantity!!!
Chucking up loads of content every day, 7 days a week isn’t going to get you anywhere if you’re just posting for the sake of it. Pay more attention to the content your providing for your audience and make sure it suits your brand and adds value to the user experience🙌👀

3. Get your name out there!
Shout about yourself a little, there’s no harm in mentioning what you do for a living and promoting yourself to friends or strangers. You never know they may have a connection that needs your service or product! Get yourself out to networking events trust me they’re a blast, you meet lovely people and get your name out there toooo 🕺🏻✨

4. Take the leap
If you haven’t yet taken that step to start your own business cus you’re worried there won’t be a right time? well trust me there isn’t a right time. Just go for it! who cares if you stumble, what matters is getting yourself out there and trying 🥰💌

I have the sweetest clients!!🤍🌿

I worked along with Tammie ( )last year - not as a manager but as a coach!
We had regular meetings over the course of a month and I got to teach her different little tricks and we worked on being more confident online🙌

She was an absolute Star to work with and I’m forever impressed with the work she produces today!✨

If you’ve read this far myself and Tammie are actually working together on a project at the moment and I can’t wait to tell you all about it very very soon 🤩
