Almanak were launching a business and raising investment at the same time.

That’s two enormous things happening at once, and they needed content that could carry the weight of both, without their team being pulled into managing a production while they were trying to close a round.

We built a phased campaign. A sequence of content designed to move investors through stages, from awareness to conviction to commitment. Each piece had a specific purpose. None of them were trying to do everything.

The round closed at $7.8 million, that’s fifteen times their original target. Later, the campaign was shortlisted at the Lens Awards for Best Video Targeted to an Investor Audience.

The number is the proof, but the reason those results came to fruition was that nobody tried to close $7.8 million with a single video.

Being asked back is its own kind of feedback.

Last month, we returned to ExCeL London as official content partners for The International Franchise Show , working with Business Show Media for the second time after The Business Show last November.

Repeat trust matters.

It’s one of the clearest signs that the work, the process and the final delivery gave the client something valuable.

Over two days, The International Franchise Show brought together franchisors, franchisees, future business owners, speakers and exhibitors, with conversations happening in every direction.

Our role was to capture the event in a way that showed why it matters.

We captured the scale of the show, the atmosphere in the room, and the people behind the stands. The moments that help future attendees and exhibitors see the value of being there.

And once again, we were there as exhibitors too, giving us the chance to meet people face to face and talk about what content can do long after an event ends.

Two days at the The International Franchise Show confirmed something we hear often from growing brands.

They know content matters. They know video can help them scale. The harder part is finding the time and team to produce it consistently, to a standard that actually supports growth.

On 17th and 18th April, we were on the ground at ExCeL London as the official content sponsor for the International Franchise Show, filming across the event while also exhibiting.

Across both days, our team captured keynote talks, exhibitor stands, testimonials, show-floor energy and the scale of the event as it unfolded.

Alongside the production work, we were also speaking with franchisors, franchisees and business owners about the content challenges that come with growing a brand across multiple locations.

The most expensive place to find your idea is on set.

Over time we’ve built a process that eliminates as much guesswork as possible before anyone arrives on set. That means understanding a brand’s audience.

What keeps them up at night, what makes them laugh, and why they’d stop and watch something a brand made rather than scroll past it.

By the time we turn up on shoot day, we’re executing a plan. The creative decisions, the narrative, the approach, all of it has been worked through in the weeks before.

That’s what makes the difference between a shoot that delivers and one that doesn’t.

Yesterday, we were delighted to attend the national Legacy Giving Awards 2026 in London and to receive the award for Legacy Campaign of the Year for our I'll Always Remember campaign. This award is really for the patients and families who bravely and openly shared what they'll always remember about St John’s care with such dignity and courage. We couldn’t have won this award without them.

The award highlights the kindness of the community, who support St John's care in so many ways including gifts in their Wills. So many people have experienced the exceptional care of their local hospice and want the loved ones of others to have this compassion at the end of their lives. Thank you to all our wonderful community - again, this award is for you, because it's you who enable us to be there for others at one of the most difficult times in their lives.

People often ask what we actually do.

The simple answer is that we help brands work out what needs saying, then make the content that says it properly.

That might be a campaign film, a social series, or branded content. Production support for an in-house team. Sometimes it’s strategy. Sometimes it’s ex*****on. Most of the time, it’s both.

We’ve done that across different sectors, different markets, and different kinds of briefs, from global brands to growing businesses.

The common thread is knowing how to find the angle, shape the message, and make work that delivers results.

Most brands don’t come to us because they want more content. They come to us because they need to meet a commercial goal.

- A product needs to land properly.
- A campaign needs to convert, not just perform.
- They need to shift brand perception.

At that point, the work can’t just look good. It has to produce results.

So with every brief, we start with these questions:

- What is this campaign doing for the business?
- Where does the content live after it’s released?
- How do we know if it worked?

The specifics change from brief to brief, but the expectation doesn’t. The work needs to deliver.
