HGV Driver / sale ground set up person Wanted
We are looking for someone to join the team who can do a little of everything. Must have Class 1 license. The roll will predominantly be driving RoRo lorry and moving sale items on site using tele-handler / forklift. There will also be some Class 1 driving which will be Bulker and Low Loader work. The right person needs to be self motivated and able to work alone and as part of a team. Family run business.
Experience driving RoRo lorry would be beneficial but not necessary as training can be provided.

We are Hiring!



We are looking for someone to be part of a team at B Allsop and Sons, Langar. We need someone to take photos, advertise on eBay and our website, operate the weighbridge, and interact with customers. The ideal person needs to be able to work as part of a team and independently. We are a family run business predominantly dealing in Scrap Metal but we also so Resale. Must have an excellent work ethic, be punctual, willingness to learn, and have a good sense of humour! This isn’t a hard job, but the right person needs to be able to listen, learn and take things on board, snowflakes need not apply as you just simply won’t fit in.

Monday – Friday 8am-5pm and some Saturdays may be required.

Fantastic Vintage lorry that has been well maintained throughout its life, Dry stored when not in use, chassis and body work are in fantastic condition.

Very low milage/km @ 055957 for its age, C/W Atlas AK 910 C A1 Crane (1997) Double Hydraulic Legs, Clam Shell Grab, Strong lightweight Crane , Aluminium Drop Side Tipping Body measuring at 14ft in length.

5861cc Diesel, Manual Gearbox, Plated at 7.5 Ton, Good tyres all round, MOT till 31st March 2025, C/W Tow Bar.

Very Tidy inside the cab with Grey Leather Seats.

Not one to be missed!! This is a really good example of a well maintained Vintage Lorry.

Paint work is in good condition with flashing beacon and air horns attached to the front of the cab.

Job Vacancy for a HGV and Plant Mechanic.
Must have HGV Experience, be able to work alone, with others and use own initiative.HGV Licence would be preferred, but not a must. Most work will be carried out undercover in modern workshop with modern equipment inc new Jaltest computer. Hours are 8am to 5pm and pay is dependent on experience.
