At this point everyone has heard of the KitKat heist, and one thing has become clear… it’s marketing gold.

Whether a prolonged April Fools joke or a legitimate disaster, the outcome is exactly the same — genius.

Almost as soon as the statement was released by KITKAT responses came flooding in from countless other brands adding their two cents to the matter, and within hours the whole palaver had gone viral.

Hi, I’m Brianna, the founder of The Social Bee!šŸ

I haven’t introduced myself on here in a good while, so I thought I’d pop on to reintroduce myself and say hi!🄰 I’d love it if we could all get to know each other betteršŸ¤

I’m 23 and live in Leeds, and I founded The Social Bee back in January 2023. I previously worked in retail and recruitment (😓🫠), but I have always had a passion for social media and content creation! In the last 3 years (time flies😳🄹) I’ve had the pleasure of working with some wonderful businesses, and now that my business is growing, I have space to work with even more amazing people!

🫧 I live with my partner and our little pooch, Reggie (a cheeky little Dachshund x Patterdale)🐶
🫧 I spend most of my free time watching true crime documentaries and YouTube creators, and if I’m not doing that, I will most definitely be found scrolling TikTok 🤣
🫧 I’ve always been creative, taking textiles and art at GCSE and studying Fine Art at A-Level, but I’m also a bit of a nerd and love to learn! I also took A-Levels in Law and English Language!šŸ“š

Most brands don’t get noticed because their messaging is unclear, inconsistent, or their visuals don’t reinforce their identity. Your audience needs to immediately recognise who you are, what you offer, and why you’re different.

Clarity in messaging builds trust, and consistent visuals make your brand memorable. When your audience sees a cohesive message across posts, stories, and reels, they start remembering you and naturally engaging with your content.

I see it all the time.

Someone’s posting, showing up, being consistent,
but it’s still not bringing in enquiries.

Most of the time it’s not that they’re doing a bad job.
It’s just that the content isn’t really leading anyone anywhere.

It might look nice, maybe get a few likes,
but no one is thinking ā€œI want to work with her.ā€

And if it’s not obvious what you do or what the next step is, people won’t figure it out, they’ll just scroll.

It’s small tweaks that make the difference.

I think ā€œpersonal brandingā€ gets overcomplicated quite often.

At its core, it’s simply how people perceive you when they come across your profile.

It’s the combination of what you post, what you talk about consistently, and how clearly you communicate what you do and who you help.

If someone lands on your page and isn’t immediately sure what you offer, it’s usually not a content issue—it’s a clarity issue.

A good place to start is choosing 2–3 key areas you want to be known for, and making sure the majority of your content aligns with those.
That’s what builds recognition and trust over time.

Posting Reels doesn’t automatically get you clients, even on Instagram.

I see so many people stressing about likes, views, and going viral… and that’s not what actually makes money. šŸ˜…
