We are pleased to announce that after an exhaustive application process, from 1st March 2024 Annecto Marketing Ltd t/a Professional Leads will be authorised by the FCA. Our application process began in early 2023 and during the process we have consulted closely with the FCA.

While a lot of companies working in our space do not feel they need to be regulated, we believe that with the introduction of Consumer Duty and ever increasing scrutiny on financial promotions, it is incumbent on companies working in any aspects of financial services to be regulated.

After a consultation with the FCA, Google and Microsoft recently changed the way they allowed advertisers to access their platform, insisting they were either directly regulated themselves or “sponsored” by directly a regulated company. The more recent FCA changes on how regulated companies are able to approve financial promotions has further increased scrutiny on those involved in financial services marketing.

At Professional Leads we believe the only way to achieve the high standards we set ourselves is to work within the regulatory framework laid down by the FCA.

The successful candidate needs to be comfortable interacting with people from all walks of life when dealing with a large volume of inbound sales enquiries, and speaking to new prospects on behalf of the company & clients. The successful candidate will lead a small though expanding team and needs to have a keen eye for detail as monitoring and management of sales enquiries will be a big part of the job.

The key to success in lead conversion is how you engage with that initial enquiry from the very beginning. If you're slow to react and don't nurture a new prospect from day one you are setting yourself up for failure.

We interviewed our managing director Jonathan McGee last year who explained the process of lead generation and gave us a perfect example of the best way to maximise your lead conversions.

Imagine you are the person putting an enquiry into an online search. If you put yourself into a new customers shoes, by picturing the journey that person is going through, it can help you understand that customers requirements.

At Professional Leads we know that every lead is a potential client who needs assistance from a professional. Every enquiry is an opportunity to help someone, to build trust, and to start a new business relationship. And building trust takes time. It takes regular engagement and persistence. And most of all it takes patience.

- Work efficiently with inbound sales leads, making contact in a timely and organised manner

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilise various communication methods in order to maximise contact rates and engagement with potential clients

- Despite this being a new role, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate departmental control & responsibility

- Manage, distribute and analyse leads through our client management system

- Manage and organise clients weekly reports

- Working closely with our partner companies creating effective partnerships

- Effectively collaborate with other teams and internal stakeholders

- Liaising with the accounts department on client invoices

SKILLS
- At least 18 months experience with a track record of delivering success in a similar role

- Experience in financial services and in particular pension would be beneficial

- Superb communications skills across varying platforms

- Be able to quickly determine the type of client during contact and adapt communication style accordingly

- High attention to detail required as reporting element of the role is important.

- Incredibly organised and be able to multitask

- Numerate and comfortable using google sheets/docs

- Proven self-organisation and prioritisation skills & ability to multi-task with effective resolution management in a fast-paced, growing environment

- Clear communicator who is able to translate strategy into action

In this weeks video, Jonathan McGee explains the process of maximising your lead conversion by highlighting the most important aspects of lead generation.

The key to success with all lead generation is being able to make contact with the right person at the right time in their customer journey.

Someone looking for financial advice may be in the early stages or research OR they may be further along down the journey and desperately need help from an adviser there and then. In either case, the key to actually booking an appointment with a potential new customer is all to do with how that initial enquiry is handled.

The speed, in which, a new enquiry is dealt with is absolutely critical to converting a lead into an appointment. The longer you leave that lead, the less likely you are to convert that potential new client to an appointment.
