In our most recent Lunch & Learn, our Head of Media Emma gave us a Paid Media 101. The session gave us insight into paid channels, stragey and planning, optimising and buying best practices π§βπ
Here are some things we took away:
π Using a range of targeting options is important. We shouldn't overlook the value of first party audiences.
π Attribution models are important when understanding the total impact of a specific channel and how media plays a part in the customer journey.
π Copy and creative is one of the most important aspects when grabbing users attention.
π Optimising ads using tactics such as landing page tests, bid management and campaign restructuring is important for improving performance over time and achieving objectives.
π Organic social, SEO and PR strategies should all be integrated within paid media to align all marketing efforts towards one unified objective and drive maximum effectiveness.
