We are Abigail and Chloe, a design duo, who are also known as Buttercrumble. We are passionate about collaborating with other creative people who believe in the power of good design.

Nostalgia always sells. ✨

Millennial parents are fuelling a boom in vintage childrenswear, bringing 90s favourites back to the playground. In our latest column for Spanish magazine, , we explored how this is reshaping the children's fashion market. To accompany the piece, we also created this fun illustration.

As nineties kids, we're thrilled to see a resurgence of Rugrats and Dragon Ball Z.

Land art has always been one of our favourite art forms. 🌱 We fell in love with its beauty and earnestness after studying Richard Long and Andy Goldsworthy at school. It feels immediate and accessible, helping us reconnect with nature and the present moment. Our upbringing by the coast meant that we were never too far from inspiring vistas! We were reminded of this when we recently visited Charles Jencks' Cells of Life at .artland in Scotland.

Hello! 👋 Abigail here for this week's studio update! We've had a busy week of events, going out and meeting people in-person(!) 😱

Some discussions were around the use of AI. We've discovered that a lot of people don't want to be sat prompting ChatGPT all day. Instead, they want to focus on being present in the real world.

Of course, there are pros for AI, but as business owners, it's important to remember: a brand built by human spirit will capture more hearts.

We are visual storytellers! ✏️📚

These frames are from an animation we created for Dr Paul Chadwick's "Do I Drink Too Much?" His book helps stop everyday drinking from becoming a life-limiting addiction.

It was a pleasure to work on this project, and we're thankful to have collaborated with Dr Chadwick in sharing his research with a wider audience.

We collaborated to create a fresh brand identity and web design to communicate The Midlife Project's wonderful offering: supporting women and organisations to navigate menopause at work. 💪

We're so excited to see how the business continues to develop and grow.
