🔎 Instagram is testing rectangular previews on profile grids.

🎥 Facebook plan to test two main chronological feeds, “Video” alongside the normal “Feed”.

💙 LinkedIn is testing the ability for users to save a post for later within the main post menu, with “repost”, “repost with thoughts” and “send as a message” under a “Share” button.

📸 Instagram is working on blocking the ability to take screenshots in chats when media can only be viewed or replayed once.

🧵 Threads is (finally) working on advanced search, allowing users to filter posts by date and profile.

👍 X, is testing the removal of like, comment and repost buttons from replies.

🎧 Instagram is now allowing users to link their Spotify accounts to save songs to a dedicated playlist.

In the coming months, we will see introduce a new approach to labelling realistic AI-generated organic media.

This will either be by automated labelling on images from several AI tools, or self-disclosure on video and audio. While this update does not apply to ads, it is extremely relevant to brands that post AI-generated content.
