So I just thought I would share some coverage from Summer as I was looking back over some of our results and this one stood out because first of all I love Psychologies and my clients always have it on the hit list ! - so it’s a joy when we get to bring that to life and celebrates experts in the zones of genius in a magazine that they absolutely love!! 🥳

And I also think this coverage is interesting because Ruth and Jodie are at very different points in their PR journey, so we have worked with Ruth many times over the years and have really built up her personal profile and her areas of expertise so journalists know they can call on her for all things neuroscience and human behaviour whereas Jodie is relatively new to PR and still building her media profile but because she is an expert in such a niche area there are many opportunities available to her too and we were confident in pitching her expertise too as she’s soooooo knowledgeable in this specialist area it was a no brainer! It was a lovely coming together of two different clients from two different points in business, celebrating their knowledge and proving that you can be recognized as an expert in many different ways. ⚡️

Being able to powerfully show up, see yourself and feel empowered, and feel ready to share what you are here to bring to the world with confidence and conviction is a by product of having loads of fun in our online PR parties.

I'm thinking it might be time for another one?!

I’ve been in the PR game for over 20 years. I’ve had my own business for 22 years. I’ve seen a lot of startups come and go. I’ve seen founders fly and founders fail.

The ones who succeed- what do they have that others don’t? Well in my experience these things always help.

- A clear compelling brand story as to why they exist
- A clear recognizable brand identity and strong visuals
- A conviction and clarity of message that makes people feel something
- An appetite for risk
- A ‘why not me, why not now, attitude
- A commitment to being seen, and being found by the people who need them.

It’s not natural for many of us to toot our own horns. It can feel odd, uncomfortable, ‘not normal’ to be out there celebrating ourselves and what we bring to the world.

But guess what. Entrepreneurs are not normal. We are wired differently- and we get to live differently- so let’s stop hiding what it is we’re here to do, and start celebrating it.
