Letâs talk about the elephant in the room đ
The trades industry has a problem. And itâs not leads, word of mouth drying up, or the economy.
Itâs the wave of fake âmarketing expertsâ targeting hardworking trade businesses and it needs calling out.
Hereâs what youâre actually dealing with.
đ¶ïž The Tate Wannabe. Running a marketing agency is the latest get rich quick scheme. Sitting in a co working space talking about escaping the matrix while your retainer funds it. No experience, no accountability, no skin in the game.
đ» The Copy and Paste Kid. Watched a few videos, white labelled a CRM, built a basic website and now theyâre a âspecialistâ. Same funnel for every business with a different logo slapped on it. Because in their world every business is the same. It isnât.
đ„± The Condescending One. Talks to tradespeople like theyâre lucky to be getting advice. Never quoted a job, never managed a team, never dealt with a no show or chased an invoice after a 12 hour day. You built something real. Donât let someone like that talk down to you.
đ The âWord of Mouth Isnât Enoughâ merchant. Says it like itâs fact. It isnât. Plenty of businesses are fully booked through referrals. Sometimes ads help. Sometimes they donât. A good agency knows the difference.
If youâre happy with your workload and revenue, keep going. Youâre clearly doing something right.
If you want to add 40%, 50%, 60% and more đ on top of what youâre already bringing in without disrupting what youâve built, thatâs where we come in.
We donât fix broken businesses. We work with good ones and help them scale properly.
And if you never work with us and youâre already doing well, youâll still be fine. Donât let someone chasing a quick buck tell you otherwise.
