6th -🥗 Nachos Day, what food deserves, it's only a holiday more than nachos.
11th - 🍨Sundae, celebrating this creation of awesomeness that was created initially by a pharmacist.
14th - 💜World Kindness Day - we should not need a day for this, but hey, let's take all the kindness we can get.
17th - 🗻Take a hike - A day promoted to exploring
26th Nov - Cake day - which should be every day but hey ho.

I AM NOT A VA

I have BA honours first class degree in Business and marketing. I worked my arse off to gain the highest first on my course out of 1000’s of students.
I completed a graduate training scheme.
Proofreading course
Copywriting course
Multiple Facebook ads courses
Not to mention what I’ve taught myself and learnt from colleagues.
11 years experience in marketing roles, 4 years self employed and a s**t ton of proof I am good at my job.

STOP adding VA to specialist areas like marketing to bring the price down. I need a VA who can do copywriting, build Wordpress, do ads. No you need a WEB DEVELOPER. CONTENT CREATOR AND PAID ADS EXPERT!!
You are slowly ruining our potential to be taken seriously and to be honest our morale.

VA’s this is nothing on you guys, it’s the ignorance that seems to be flying around.

I have lost clients. There I said it.
All of us self-employed legends probably don't want to admit it, but it happens. When it happens, it hits us right in the privates. We feel it like our own kids telling us they don't love us. Even though we understand, it hurts.

I lost a client after 3 years, she was my first self employed client. When I questioned my hours across my wage, she got rid of me. I was both gutted and relieved.

I have had a client since last year and have become part of her team and appreciate her.

I have one-off clients who try my services but don't carry on, I feel it like a punch in my gunt.

I am lucky to have a wonderful network of supportive people to carry me through when I feel like I can't do it any more.

Remember, it is OK to feel like s**t!

THIS IS A FUNNEL

Facebook ads are unique because it targets people at the top. Instead of google, where someone is looking for a service or product similar to your business. Facebook targets people who didn't even know they needed you. BUT you can't assume that people will just buy-in. Think about how you go through this process and adapt your strategy to fit this.

I don't always get it right...

The bitch about being self-employed is everyone celebrates all the s**t they did right. you know what, we get it wrong or it doesn't work for that particular client. And when it happens we feel it in our bones, we aren't a big company with profits to soak up the loss, we are a person who feels that persons disappointment and all we strive to do is to make it work. But sometimes, you just can't and that's ok. There might be someone who can. That isn't a failure.
We did our best, we do our best every single fu***ng time. That is what you get when you trust a small business.
