Got the bug for drawing up lightsaber's and printing them! 😏
I have always loved Anakin's lightsaber because of how shiny and clean it is. An absolute icon of the Star Wars universe in my eyes 🤩
Not a huge fan of silk filaments because of their poor layer adhesion but despite some ringing in the shaft I'm pretty happy with how this turned out 👌🏻

May the force be with you 🤚🏻
It's been a while since a flexed my CAD muscles (thanks rona) so last week I decided to draw up one of the most Iconic Lightsabers in the Star Wars universe! 🌌
I don't think I could have chose better matching filament colours and I especially love the glow in the dark blade 🤙🏻
I also had to try and remember as much of my GCSE in electronics to figure out the circuit to power the LED's inside 😫
I'm really happy with the quality of the print I got with this. Abaolutely no post processing was used (other than gluing together) 👌🏻

This is the first little holder I made for my darts about 2 or so years ago. I only stopped using it a month or so ago when I upgraded it and shared in a recent post! 😀 🎯

My grandma's friend very kindly passed this old Aladdin paraffin lamp to restore. Unfortunately the original shade for it was smashed and unusable 😨 I decided to model a new one based on the original shape of the shade and print it using the "Spiralise Contour" feature on cura. It worked a treat 👌🏻
I also had to print a couple washers to help secure the bulb holder and a grommet for where the wire passes into the base 😀

A bit of a throw back to when I was taking photos of the record stands I designed and print to sell on Etsy.
I remember when I was setting up my Etsy shop I was absolutely sh****ng myself for fear of people not liking what I do and for all of my efforts to be in vain 😨
Thankfully that wasn't the case and I am so grateful for everyone who has bought something from me.
I initially wanted to sell a few prints to just pay off my printer so I could justify to myself buying one in the first place. I ended up having such a successful first few months that I had to buy another printer to keep up with orders being placed 😅

Really wanted to print this model by Extreme3D on but wanted to wait until I had the right filament.
