Take an idea from concept to reality with me!
When Lauren told me she had an event coming up and needed a banner and some print design for her stand, I knew we were going to bring something excellent to life.

Together, we assessed the space and created a plan for print that would suit not just this event, but future ones too. When it came to her print design, I wanted to give her products built for longevity and multipurpose use.

From this, we landed on:
• A roller banner displaying her details, website and stunning work (because it speaks for itself).
• Leaflets describing what Feral Forest Photography does, her packages, how to find her online, and of course her beautiful imagery!
• And finally, stickers for the leaflets with a promo code to track where that lead came from.

This was the most versatile and cost effective approach, something I always strive towards for clients, and wow did it turn out great.

Lauren's stand stood out from the get go; of course I went along to support her! The print mixed with her framed imagery, her impeccable eye for decor, and treats and water for furry friends pulled it all together and, most importantly, drew people in!

She took 13 portraits that day and gained 2 bookings from businesses.

When I asked Lauren what she thought of the designs once printed, she said they feel so official and professional, and that it's taken the business to the next level.

I was dead chuffed when she gave me a leaflet to take home... my design brought to life.

Another wonderful netwalking experience thanks to the Federation of Small Businesses - FSB, Katy Draper & The National Forest. What an inspired way to meet new people and make connections whilst engaging in something that's positive for both your physical and mental health.

Personally, I love being surrounded by nature; the animals, the plants and the peace that it brings. So every time I see one of these events pop up, you better believe I'll be there!

It was also lovely to meet so many fantastic professionals and catch up with some familiar faces. I can't wait for the next one!

I’m incredibly proud and grateful to have had the opportunity to walk beside my fellow Future Faces Chamber of Commerce D&I members and represent Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce this year at Birmingham Pride. 🌈💚

I was gutted to have missed it last year so when asked again this year it was an instant ‘yes’!

Seeing the amount of love, freedom, happiness and pride there yesterday filled my heart and I won’t lie, whilst walking though, seeing the crowd, the diversity and the joy, I did get overwhelmed and shed a couple of tears at the sight. At such beauty in humanity and people being themselves.

We all strive for love and happiness in this world, so why stand in the way of others trying to persue that too?

So this (and beyond), remember:

❤️ Love encourages growth, happiness & freedom.
❤️‍🩹 Hate creates fear, divide & destruction.

May we all find love and happiness in this life 💚

It's so I just wanted to share some of the things I've done this week that have had positive affects on my mental health...

I'm forever saying, if you have a brain, you have mental health. So what do we do to take care of our mental health and balance it?

For me, I spend time in the garden, growing things (I've absolutely fallen in love with my tulips this year and they've brought me so much joy I can't quite describe it). Such a small thing but the beauty of them astounds me! 🌷

Walks in nature also ground me, I've seen some precious little lambs in the fields recently and I swear I've been overwhelmed by their cuteness. 😫😅

A reasonably quick trip to Ikea (well, as quick as you can be, that place is a maze) helped me gain inspiration for my home and was time spent with a loved one, as well as something to look forward to. I did also gain some marketing inspiration with their off-brand, non-copyright-infringing records, Larry Styles, Snowy Monkeys & Jake Insect were my favourites. A great way to get publicity online!!

A little lunch, coffee and catch up with Paula Senior because it's been too long!

And finally, I've been doing a pottery course every Wednesday for the last 5 weeks and the below pot I've made by hand. The final step this week has been to glaze it which I loved! And now we pray to the kiln Gods that it comes out in tact and looking good!

This year I have massively prioritised my mental health by doing things where I can that make me happy and it's made for a much happier and creative brain, which in turn impacts my work positively.

Remember to take time out for yourself where possible, because in my experience, once we start to drown under stress, it's very difficult to come back up without a fight.

An honour and a beautiful night. 💚💜

For the past few months I've been working with SARAC in anticipation for their Pearl Ball. It's been a true honour to assist with planning as an official ambassador, and the design and marketing, as a sponsor. This was Serrano Media's first time sponsoring an event and I wouldn't of had it any other way.

I've been overwhelmed by the amount of support we've received from businesses and individuals alike. It has truly been a group effort and we couldn't have done it without you all.

I'm already missing voice-noting Caroline every day; an indefatigable force to be reckoned with. She's been the yin to my yang during this process and we couldn't have complimented each other's way of working any better. 💚

A HUGE thank you to the volunteers, sponsors, donors and of course, those of you who attended on the night. The support we've received has been profound on the lead up to, during and even after the event.
