Alongside the window displays and in store POS for the SD Core estate, this year I also had the opportunity to push my AV skills further by creating content for the Flannels X Oxford Street screens, using the brand assets to build a bold, impactful visual experience.

It’s running season! 🏃‍♂️

I’ve been fortunate enough to work on retail deliverables for the Nike Pegasus campaign over the past few years, and last month saw the latest launch roll out across Sports Direct.

As always, it’s a pleasure working with the Frasers Group marketing team in Shirebrook, and seeing projects like this come to life is exactly what keeps me motivated

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿As a kid, one of my biggest memories was trips to Fosse Park with my mum, my brother and friends 🔴⚪️

Picking up the latest England shirt from Sports Soccer (Westy 3 on the back, long sleeves like David Beckham, of course), then sitting in the food court reading Match magazine with a mini pizza from Pizza Hut 👌

So to now have the opportunity to work on the latest Nike England kit launch for Sports Direct feels really special 🔴⚪️

From artworking posters and lightboxes for store fascias and internal displays, to designing a lorry livery, it’s been a real full circle moment for that football kit-obsessed kid 🦁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Here’s how it all turned out, plus a few throwbacks of me in my England kits ⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🦁

Pursuit of progress 🚀

Latest work for PURE45 & Alex Bowen

The aim was to create a system that could evolve with his brand and reflect the energy Alex brings to 1–1 coaching 💪

After working with Alex previously, I knew that he needed something with flexibility, allowing him to create and evolve his own compositions. We landed on a sticker-style approach. A curated set of icons designed to be mixed, layered and reworked across apparel and marketing, giving him full creative control moving forward 🎨

30 graphics. 3 colourways. Built to be used, not just seen 🔥

A flexible toolkit for a growing fitness and lifestyle brand.

Always a pleasure, looking forward to seeing the final apparel from PURE45 👕

It’s no secret that two of my biggest passions are design and football. When I set up Thurmaston DPC back in 2017, it happened to line up with the time I went self-employed — so the two have always gone hand in hand.

Over the years I’ve created plenty of work for the club, but this season I’ve really pushed myself to raise the bar and produce better, more engaging content 🎨📲

Bringing Ben () onboard as our club photographer has made a huge difference too 📸 Having quality imagery to work with has given me the assets I need and pushed the creative output to another level.

I’m especially proud of some of the recent graphics created for Thurmaston DPC Women 👏⚽️ including the announcement of their new female pathway partnership with Asfordby FC.

Here’s a look at some of the latest work 👀✨

Keep up to date with our teams

New design & print for ✂️

It’s been a long time coming, but I’m so pleased to have finally worked with Stones Hair to create their updated cards.

The set includes loyalty cards, referral cards, gift cards and a collection of postcard leaflets — all designed with a sleek, minimal style to match their aesthetic.

Printed on uncoated stock to give a softer, more relaxed finish.

Rooted in timeless design 🌳
This logo pairs a classic silhouette with a playful modern typeface to create something that feels both grounded and fresh. Old soul, new energy. Green Horizon.

A fun logo project for Removals4U.
The goal was something welcoming, trustworthy and reliable — this stamp design does exactly that.
Not my usual style, but one of those projects that reminds you how nice it is to switch things up ✨

A logo I created in 2025, blending traditional values and a strong work ethic with a modern edge.
Featuring the much-loved Reggie as the company icon, the bold silhouette conveys dominance and confidence.

My 2025 Recap ✨

I’ll be the first to admit it, I’ve been terrible at posting. I’m often so immersed in the next challenge or campaign that I forget to pause, reflect, and share the work along the way.

2025 was another year I felt incredibly lucky to freelance with Frasers Group, working on some exciting projects including campaign artwork for Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour, alongside Sports Direct’s own campaigns. I also collaborated with some brilliant clients on an ad-hoc freelance basis. While I can’t share all of that work, connecting with new people and teams has been hugely rewarding.

A definite highlight of the year was the Back to School campaign, from developing the initial concept in a meeting room in Shirebrook, to seeing it brought to life in stores, and finishing the final artwork rollout. Another standout moment was creating assets for the Monster Kickabout event, adapting the Nike Phantom campaign visuals and seeing the creative used in the real world.

2025 was a year of resetting, refining my creative output, and really knuckling down.

Looking ahead, 2026 is about outreach. I’ll be honest, I haven’t always been great at following up, responding quickly, or keeping in touch, and I know that radio silence can be frustrating. That changes now. This year is about new directions, new connections, and new opportunities.

If you’re looking for a graphic designer for an upcoming project, I’d love to hear from you.

Here’s to 2026, the year of achievement 🚀
