Every time are in town, the energy shifts.
Local legends and international artists take to the walls, creating bold, brilliant murals that stop you in your tracks 😍

From LCB Depot to Phoenix and beyond, it’s a city-wide takeover of colour, movement, and creativity that you can walk through.
It’s not just a festival, it’s a full-on celebration of street culture that puts Leicester firmly on the map!

🌈 No official date yet for the next one (but their 10th anniversary in 2027 is already in the works 👀).
In the meantime - the murals live on.

🎵 If walls could talk, The Shed would sing.

Since ’94, The Shed has been a launchpad for Leicester’s live music scene and it’s still turning up the volume.

☀️ By day, it’s a chilled creative hangout with coffee, free Wi-Fi, and space to work, meet or just sit back.
🌙 By night, it transforms into a loud, unapologetic celebration of new music, open mics, DJs and independent energy.

Some nights are full throttle. Some are low-key and unexpected. But every night? There’s something real going on.

🎬 Where bold stories take centre stage

Right in the heart of Leicester Cultural Quarter CURVE theatre, Leicester is a state-of-the-art theatre that champions creativity, community, and culture.

From launching world-class productions like Billy Elliot the Musical and Memoirs of an Asian Football Casual, to hosting incredible community-led events like Nupur Arts Dance Academy Indian Summer last year.
The Curve is where Leicester’s diverse voices shine.

They run inspiring workshops for all ages, offer inclusive opportunities to get involved in the arts, and through their Artist Development Programme, nurture the next generation of performers, writers, and directors.

Featuring guest speaker Bups Daya of Studio Arcana, hosted at LCB Depot and powered by GRAYS Coffee Shop & Kitchen

🏛️ Sat July 12th, 12–4pm:
CQ Earlies returns with free, drop-in Roman-themed fun for families:

LCB Depot – Build aqueducts, discover ancient artefacts & visit a Roman stylist
CURVE theatre, Leicester – Explore stories through movement in archaeology-inspired creative workshops
Leicester Print Workshop – Design your own kamihanga lion gladiator print
Two Queens – Get stuck into clay and make your own Roman pot

🚀 From July 12th to Sept 26th, follow the Rocket Round Leicester trail... a bold and colourful public art adventure lighting up the CQ and beyond.

🛍️ And from July 30th to August 26th, Wednesdays 1pm–5pm, browse the Midlands Makers Market at LCB Depot - shop small, support local, and help raise funds for Help the Homeless.

🌙 BY NIGHT:

Last Friday – Art, street food, live music and pop-ups at our iconic monthly night

The Exchange Bar – Cocktails, creative company, and laid-back late-night vibes

The Shed – Intimate gigs and open mic nights with an independent spirit

There's been too many occasions (for our liking) where people have told us that they didn't know this event was a thing in Leicester...and they wished they knew sooner!

Last Friday turns the Leicester Cultural Quarter into a buzzing hub of creativity and connection.

Performances, pop-ups, DJs, live music, comedy sets and delicious food that hits the spot every time🤤

Not only is it a great night, but it's super affordable.

You can grab a ticket in advance online for only £1 or pay £2.50 on the door🎟️
