What a month it was...

We started September with celebrations 🎉 Higgins Embroidery & Print Ltd celebrated its 1st birthday, and we just cannot believe how quickly the year has gone!

We would once again like to express how incredibly grateful we are to all of our loyal, returning customers who have not only kept us busy throughout our first year, but have also recommended us to so many new clients along the way. Thank you so much — it really is greatly appreciated 😊

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to our amazing friends and family, who have been our biggest cheerleaders throughout this first year of building our business. We are so lucky to have you all supporting us.

The celebrations were enjoyable but short-lived, as we quickly dived into what ended up being our busiest month to date!

We were still inundated with school uniform orders, while the first of the autumn/winter workwear orders have started trickling in too. Alongside these, we have completed plenty of other one-off orders, including personalised wedding items, winter football coats and much more...

⚽️ Football Coats For The Win ⚽️

We are delighted to have provided the Dunton & Broughton Scorpions with their winter football coats this morning, just in time for their fourth game of the season... which, of course, they absolutely smashed with a full-time score of 3–1! ⚽️🎉

..and not only is the month of August now over, but so are the summer holidays! How fast did that fly by?!

But here at Higgins Embroidery & Print Ltd, we knew all too well that the end of the summer holidays was upon us and a new academic year was beginning, with just how extremely busy we have continued to be! We’ve been busy completing new school uniforms ready for the return to various education settings... which perhaps explains why this month has passed so quickly!

And not only that, orders from both our returning clients and some exciting new customers have been pouring in too! So, once again... that explains why yet another month has whizzed by!

We’ve completed numerous items of workwear, both embroidered and printed, and some of our clients have even started ordering in preparation for autumn/winter workwear. It will be here before we know it... those cold, wet and darker days are on their way! ..and unfortunately, our photo collage doesn't do justice in showing just how many orders we have successfully completed this month. Once again, we have been incredibly busy here at Higgins Embroidery & Print that we simply haven't had the time to take many photos or videos of all the different items we have produced this month... but, a busy month is always a good problem to have.

Not only have we had business orders rolling in, including summer workwear branding (both embroidery & print), van magnetic signage, business banners and much more, but we have also made a start on children's school uniforms. We have been working alongside one of our biggest supporters, helping them meet the extremely high demand of getting local schools ready for the new academic year.

While we are dedicated to growing Higgins Embroidery & Print and continuing to welcome new customers and clients, we are also proud to support other local businesses whenever they need an extra helping hand. It has not only been an extremely hot one for us, but an extremely busy one too.

We have successfully completed numerous embroidery and printed orders, not only for our loyal returning customers, but we have also been privileged to welcome many new customers and clients. These have included another local football club, a hunting association, and a motocross enthusiast, all of whom continue to support our new family-run business as we grow from strength to strength.

We have also had another month of exciting opportunities to work on various new products and projects, including local shop window displays, branded socks, ties, and sportswear. We have thoroughly enjoyed being challenged with these new ideas - check out our reel to see what we've been up to! 🤩

But the most exciting part of the month has to be that we've once again added new equipment to our collection... our new embroidery cap gauge and frame! 👏 This has arrived just in time to prepare for our upcoming cap orders and the busy summer ahead. We made it! 🥵🌞

After an extremely hot week in the workshop and office, with temperatures reaching as high as 35°C, we pushed through to successfully complete all of our scheduled orders... phew! 😅 We're definitely looking forward to a cooler week ahead!

Despite the heat, we produced a variety of embroidered and printed items, but one project we'd really like to share with you is our first complete shop front display project – and we're pleased to say it was a huge success! 🎉

As requested, we designed, produced and installed an Evri sign to the top left of the shop front, along with three framed poster displays across the front of the shop, showcasing a selection of products and services available inside.

All four displays turned out perfectly, and we're delighted to have another happy client on board. 😊

..and what a month it has been!

After finishing April as our busiest month so far, the momentum continued into May, which became so busy with orders that it was our first month of working weekend overtime to ensure our clients received their completed orders within the scheduled time frame.

We always strive for a quick turnaround without compromising the quality of our services, and we are proud to say that it was yet another month of happy clients and customers.

This month, we also invested in a new piece of equipment: the Melco Pro Fast Clamp, which ultimately opens up a wider range of products that we are now able to embroider onto, including shoes, socks, bags, rucksacks, shirts, lanyards, dog collars and leads, and belts. The possibilities are now almost endless with the Melco Pro Fast Clamp, and we are extremely excited to continue sampling and producing new items.
