It's good to write your top 5 values down on a bit of paper. Then everything you do make sure it fits around these 5 values.

When you set values, you give yourself guidelines which set you as an authentic person because you stick to those values.
‍
People love to deal with authentic people. And those values set you up as an authentic person.
‍
Always stick to your top 5 values when writing your emails and your list will respect your authenticity.
‍

There is no right and wrong way to write emails, only question is, was your email successful or not?
‍
The harsh reality is, you won’t know until you send your email.
‍
This is why the best way to get better emails is to split test them.
‍
The way I do this is to send the same email to 50% of my email list using different subject lines.
‍
This lets me see what subject line gets more interest.
‍
Next I like to put a “like” link and a “dislike” link at the bottom of my emails. This lets me know if the reader likes the content or did not.
‍

When your mission statement aligns with your consumers, you have a brand.

I love to watch YouTube videos on products or services in my industry, which is digital marketing, and then look at the comment section.
‍
This lets me see if products or services connect with people commenting or if the product or service falls short.
‍
This is where you find products or services that could be improved and how you can give better value.
‍
Whether that be custom training, deliver a faster turnaround time or a support ticket system that leaves no one hanging.
‍
The key to dealing with people is to keep them updated on what’s going on and making sure your product or service does what the user needs.
‍

Tracking your readers behaviour is the best thing you can do in order to give you data content they want.
‍
There are a couple of things to track...
‍
1. If you drive traffic to blogs, have a quick report to show your blog visits from email once a month, you can do this with Google analytics.
‍
2. Track the emails that get your visitors to click a link to a blog video, you can do this with talking or Google UTM tracking
‍
Once you know what emails don’t convert or calls and subscribers you can delete that email for place of an email that converts better.
‍

When you put a lot of work into writing an email that gives your reader value, it would be a shame to send it only be caught in many spam filter systems leaving you puzzled, wondering why you got a poor response.

You can Spam Check your emails for free using Mail-Tester, Google it, you will thank me.

Write your emails in story format, be the Yoda to Luke Skywalker, this way people read how you turned round a campaign or service for others and think OMG, I need you to do that for me!

This is a way more positive position to be in than the person who tried the hard sell, just be honest and talk about real experiences that can give other's value.

Check your emails on mobile phones… Right Peeps, this would seem too obvious, unfortunately I see people sending emails which can only be described as flyers!

Just make sure your emails read ok on mobiles or you will be missing out big time.

Your email service can tag your email readers with the blog they visited.

You can use tags to see what blog titles your email readers find more interesting.

This lets you focus on giving your email list better content.
