Job Vacancy - Trainee Pre-Press Operator (Letchworth)

This role would suit a motivated, enthusiastic individual, looking for a varied and autonomous role where on the job training will be provided. The successful candidate will be an essential part of the business and work within an experienced and friendly team of colleagues.

The job responsibilities include checking artwork, setting up files and preparing layouts for Litho and Digital print processes. They will also learn to operate our new Ricoh Pro7200 (small digital printer).

The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning, be hardworking, conscientious, and reliable. Ideally, they will have a basic understanding of Adobe applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, on an alternating shift of 10am to 6pm and 2pm to 10pm.

Production Operatives needed - Sandy & Letchworth

Due to Company growth and expansion, we have vacancies for Production Operatives to work within our Assembly and Dispatch department at our Warehouse in Sandy, Bedfordshire and Machine Operators, at our Factory in Letchworth, Herts. You will be working with an experienced and friendly team of colleagues, where full training will be given.

Fixed shifts available: 6am – 2pm (earlies), 2pm - 10pm (lates) or 10pm – 6am (nights)

Salary: £10.10p/h, plus 20% night shift allowance (if applicable)

Due to Company growth and expansion of our Print Estimating team, we have an opportunity for a Trainee Estimator to join our production facility in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.

This role would suit a motivated, enthusiastic individual, looking for a varied and autonomous role where on the job training will be provided. The successful candidate will be an essential part of the business and work within an experienced and friendly team of colleagues.

The job responsibilities include taking briefs from the client services team, estimating production for potential production projects and supplying quotes. The role requires a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, and additional training would be given in Tharstern (MIS) which is the specific program used for the purpose.

The ideal candidate will be educated to A level standard or equivalent, with GCSEs in English & Maths. They will have good communication skills and enjoy work that requires detail and accuracy.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
£Generous salary, plus yearly bonus
