Every week this year, I sat with them for a brew and listened, recorded and took notes, then used ChatGPT to shape it into their biographies.

A year-long personal project to capture their life and stories for me, for my boys, and for future generations. A unique gift arriving just in time to give them this Christmas!

Explore Lichfield Letter by Letter: A-Z Explore

(Inspired by the city’s rich literary heritage)

Last year I pitched a unique idea to Lichfield District Council. A series of A to Z typographic landmarks, creating playful trails across the city

The campaign and message was simple - visit Lichfield and spell out your name

It was well received but now seems to be on pause, or possibly shelved, at least locally anyway. Still, I’m passionate about bringing it to life. A free trail that encourages everyone to explore the outdoors in an urban setting.

I’m building a picture of my mum and dad’s life using Ai

A portrait in fragments, stories, habits, places, and people.

Every week, I sit with them.

I ask questions.
I listen.
I take notes.
I input this data into ChatGPT

This is the friend I’m making for the future, someone my children, and theirs, might one day meet. A way to keep their voices in the room, even when they’re no longer here.
I hope I have 30 more years with these two incredible people. But now, no matter what, their humble story and wonderful personalities will live on 🟡

A Fresh Look for Lichfield: Rebrand 1 (not used)

Last year I was asked to explore a new identity for Lichfield District Council

This was the first concept

Modern, distinct and inspired by the city’s literary past

In the end, they returned to the old emblem, but I’m still proud of this redesign. Maybe one for City Council instead!
