For a long time, I thought the discomfort was mine.

That I just needed to suck it up and get on with it:

👉 That being more visible meant making more noise.
👉 That being more successful meant becoming someone different.
👉 That being an authority meant proving myself constantly.
👉 That to be more recognised I had to be more willing to put myself at the centre of everything and wrestle for my time in the spotlight.

I spent years feeling like I had to compete in a race I didn't even want to run.

But the more I tried to force 'that' version of success, the further away I felt from myself. The more misaligned I felt.

And don't get me wrong.

I understand that building a business requires visibility, I'm not daft 🤣

People need to know you exist.
They need to understand what you do and why it matters.

But over the last 9 years in business what I've come to realise is that many women aren't struggling with visibility or the concept of being visible.

➡️ They're struggling with misalignment in how they are being told they should be visible.
➡️ They're trying to build businesses in ways that don't reflect who they are.
➡️ Trying to force strategies that feel performative.
➡️ Trying to grow while quietly wishing they could do it differently.

And at some point, I realised I wasn't willing to build my business that way.

I didn't want to become the loudest voice in the room.

I wanted to become known for my work.

✅ My thinking.
✅ My expertise.
✅ The impact I create.

And over the last five years, I've built two businesses, created incredible opportunities, partnerships and a reputation by doing exactly that.

Not by becoming somebody else.
By becoming more of who I already was.

Maybe that's you?

Maybe you're like me and you're not here to build a business that demands more noise from you. To build a business being someone you aren't?

Maybe you're here to build a reputation?
To be known for your work?
To create impact?
To lead in a way that feels true?

And if that's the case, I think you're going to love what's coming next.

For a long time, I thought wanting recognition meant wanting attention but something about that didn't feel right to me.

Now I understand it's because they're completely different things.

I am the type of person, as are the majority of my gorgeous clients, who values being truly seen.

I've no interest in being the loudest voice in the room.
No desire to build a business around performance.
No ambition to become known simply for being visible.

What matters to me is being recognised for the depth of my work.

My thinking.
My expertise.
The impact I create.

And I think that's why so many brilliant, quietly ambitious women feel conflicted by the online world.

Because they're not seeking attention.
They're seeking understanding.

They want their expertise recognised.
Their value understood.
Their contribution respected.

The goal isn't to be seen by everyone.
It's to be remembered by the right people.

And that is a very different thing.

I think we're only just beginning the conversation about what it means to become a recognised woman.

So, if this resonates, stay close because I'm going to be building something amazing and I want you to be a part of it.

For a long time, I couldn’t quite articulate what I wanted from my business.

I wanted my work to reach people. I wanted opportunities, growth and impact. But what I eventually realised was that visibility alone wasn’t enough.

What I really wanted was to be recognised.

Not recognised for being everywhere, not recognised for saying the right things online, not recognised for who I know.

But, recognised for the depth of my work, my thinking, my expertise and the value I create. THAT’S what matters to me.

I think this is something many brilliant women struggle to put into words.

Of course they want visibility. They want their work to be seen, their message to reach people and their business to grow.

But there comes a point where visibility without recognition starts to feel empty.

And that’s where so many women find themselves. Visible on the surface, yet feeling under-recognised beneath it.

And I wonder if that’s what so many brilliant women are really craving?

Not more exposure.
Not more attention.

But to be recognised at the level they’re already operating.

Maybe that’s what becoming a Recognised Woman™ really means.

Not becoming louder.
Not becoming someone else.

Just becoming more fully expressed, more fully understood and more fully recognised for the brilliance that’s already there.

Nine years in, 41 years of age and at this stage of my life and business, I’m not interested in being the loudest voice in the room.

I’m interested in becoming a voice people trust, remember and respect.

If this resonates let me know below and follow along to see more. This is just the beginning ❤️
