Logo #3 -

approached me with a brief for his new page, him and both have a love and passion for golf and they’re also Bricklayers like myself.
So without using a sketch pad I knew in my head what the design was going to look like so got on Illustrator and got the pen tool and got to work.

The lads was very happy with what I produced. Was fun to create and even better to see it in use on a ball marker.

Hello, I’m Connor as you may have already guessed. I’m 31 and I’m from Grimsby but I reside in Lincoln currently and have done for 8 years in April.

I’ve always enjoyed artwork or creating things with my hands from a young age. Art was without a doubt my favourite subject at school. I’m pretty certain Art was the only subject I left school with a gcse.

Anyway after school I awaited my college course to come which was supposed to be Engineering but I was put on bricklaying course, good job I enjoyed it really and still do to this day 🤣 (yes I’m currently a bricklayer)

But Bricklaying is a fair weather job and you only really work 10 months a year, that’s a good year too! So I’ve decided to slowly try and build myself a solid portfolio and eventually become a profitable designer.

I like drawing, that’s definitely something I’d like within my designs. A human touch yeah!

Thoroughly enjoyed this one, I’m not saying it’s made me niche down or anything but any design I’m asked about now I instantly think “can I make that into some form of drawing first”

Drawing as always a hobby of mine at a young age and pretty certain I left school with only 1 gcse and it was Art.

Anyway, the brief was for a podcast, that literally are just gonna talk about s**t, Amy mentioned the name Trash Rats and I instantly loved it, she also came up with an idea which I took and manoeuvred it into the design you see in front of you.

Logo Numero 1 - Razr Edge

For my best mate, enjoyed making this, when I started it I literally had little to zero knowledge of Illustrator.
By the end of creating it, I now know how to slice text, alter spacing between characters, adjust characters individually, use a grid, edit colours, scale text.. and more.

Hello! Welcome to my Design page.

My name is Connor, I was born in Grimsby but I’ve lived in Lincoln for almost 8 years now.
Drawing was always a favourite of mine, I think art was the only gcse I left school with.
Now I’m on a quest to re-birth that passion into a form of income.
