Important Update on Payment Policy!!
I never wanted to make this post, but after careful thought, I feel it’s necessary. When I started Black Widow Web Design, I offered “No upfront payment—only pay when you’re happy” to build trust with new clients. However, trust works both ways.
Unfortunately, I’ve had too many instances where I’ve built websites, sent updates, and then heard nothing back. This isn’t just affecting my business—it’s taking time away from my family after people promise to follow up and don’t. I’m not talking about small amounts; this has now cost me significantly.
So, moving forward:
1. Once I send you the link to your completed website, you have 24 hours to make full or partial payment.
2. If no payment is made, the website will be deleted without further reminders.
This hasn’t been an easy decision, as I know it may make me less attractive to some potential clients. But I believe it will attract the right ones—those who respect my time and the effort that goes into creating their websites.
Some may argue that I’m still doing the initial build for free, and I understand that. But that’s my USP, and it’s what makes my business stand out. What’s changing is that I’m no longer waiting weeks for answers that never come.
To all my current clients—you’re absolutely brilliant, and I can’t thank you enough. You’re like family to me!❤️
