We've had a few questions this week as Google ran a suite of emails out to anyone who is linked to their business google ads account.
So... if you've recently seen this pop up in your Google Ads account or had an email saying
👉 “Your ad disclosure now shows: Ads funded by [Your Business Name]”
You’re not alone, and you don’t need to worry - assuming it shows the business name you expect to see.

This is part of Google’s Ads Transparency rollout. It's simply showing users who is funding each ad, and it's actually a good thing for brands running above-board campaigns under their business name.

✅ No action needed unless the name is incorrect.
✅ It doesn’t affect ad performance, spend, or rankings.
✅ It helps build trust with potential customers.

We all know that content is King 👑 .

Not only can it help convince site visitors—and potential clients—of your business expertise, but fresh, unique, informative content is also loved by search engines.

So, how long should it be?

500 words? 1,000 words? 2,000 words?

The answer is both simple and frustrating: It should be as long as it needs to be.

It’s about knowing your audience. How much detail will they need to know?

How complex is the content you’re writing? Do you need multiple references and sources to back up your claims?

We know that Google doesn’t like pages that are light on content (for example, a couple of sentences won’t be adequate content for a single blog). So, if you really have nothing much to say, is it worth saying? Perhaps it could be part of a wider FAQ section elsewhere.

The real takeaway from this is: don’t scrimp too much on your blog content but don’t write additional, unnecessary content for the sake of it.

It's the small things that add up, and this morning a few of our team have had a little seating refresh with some top-notch second-life task chairs from our friends at JPA Workspaces!

At Orca Online, we've always got one eye on sustainability, and choosing repurposed seating helps us do a little bit to reduce manufacturing carbon and protect natural resources.

JPA Workspaces - so much more than simply furniture work tirelessly on furniture lifecycle optimisation and local rehoming to support a circular economy and Orca will now donate to Recover Team, a social enterprise in Welwyn Garden City focused on upcycling and community upliftment.

We're not finished with the environmental savings just yet either. Step in the team at Sussex Transport who sorted the logistics back from St Albans to Sussex by backloading one of their Luton Vans that was in the area. Backloads are great for the environment as they optimise transport efficiency by ensuring trucks don't return empty after a delivery.
