👑 A truly proud and memorable day for Team Wild Thang as our Managing Director, Andrew Dwerryhouse, along with his wife and ESG Manager Carrie Dwerryhouse, attended the 50th Anniversary Garden Party of The King's Trust at Buckingham Palace.

🌍 Formerly known as The Prince’s Trust, The King’s Trust has played an incredible role in supporting young people to realise their potential, budding entrepreneurs, and deprived communities over the last five decades, helping to create opportunities, inspire ambition, and transform lives across the UK and beyond.

💚 For Andrew, this moment carried even greater significance as Wild Thang’s journey first began 30 years ago with support from The Prince’s Trust. Now, we support and champion the work this amazing charity does, making it a truly full-circle moment to attend this landmark celebration and even had the honour of being one of the few chosen to be presented to H.R.H. King Charles III himself.

👏 A huge well done to team Wild Thang which consisted of Carrie, Andy, James, Michelle and Helen, who took part in March of the Day 2026 to raise vital funds for Leeds Hospitals Charity and The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation, a charity close in the hearts of team Wild Thang as MND has effected both family friends and colleagues, John Haynes who played an integral part in coaching, mentoring and developing our team was himself struck down by this terrible illness.

💚 The team completed an incredible 35-mile route challenge in just one day, walking from Anfield Stadium to Goodison Park, Hill Dickinson Stadium, Widnes Vikings, Warrington Wolves and finally on to St Helens Stadium, covering around 80,000 steps in 11 hours and ended up being closer to 40 miles covering the full day from morning to late evening.

🌍 March of the Day 3 is a truly powerful 350-mile walk around 47 football and rugby stadiums between Liverpool and the Rob Burrow Centre in Leeds, supporting Stephen Darby, Marcus Stewart and honouring the memory of Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow.

🙌 The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation does incredible work to raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease, support families affected by MND and fund vital research into treatments and a cure. Funds raised for Leeds Hospitals Charity will also support the Rob Burrow Centre, helping create a lasting legacy of care, support and hope.

🎉 Wild Thang have raised an amazing £2,199 so far which is over double our initial target, a fantastic achievement for such important causes. This means the total raised has reached £92,263.36, an outstanding total! As proud B Corp, ESG, community, social impact and supporting people are at the heart of The Wild Thang Way ethos, so we’re incredibly proud of our team for going the extra mile, quite literally.
