Interesting new feature coming soon to Google Chrome as reported by the BBC, when you are visiting a website, if it normally loads slowly it will show visitor a message to say "this website usually loads slow" whilst loading the site. Just Imagine the immediate negative conotations this has on the visitors experience assuming they dont just go straight back in the browser.

Coupling this with the fact that site speed is a Google ranking factor, there has never been a more important time to get your website optimised for speed.
