Established in August 2012, Wall Of Sound PR is a boutique public relations and digital marketing agency focusing on creating a diverse and interesting roster of alternative and underground music—that means we've an ear for the unusual, and an open mind. Since our inception, we've worked on over 150 record releases, as well as providing bespoke PR campaigns for brands, events, media personalities and music-related businesses.
Our staff all come from an independent music industry background spanning roles in promotion, digital marketing, booking, artist management, record labels, event production, journalism and time spent as professional touring and recording musicians, giving us an innate and broad understanding of the music industry at large.
We provide a personal and professional service to artists of all sizes, working with key alternative publications including Kerrang! Magazine, Rock Sound, Metal Hammer, Louder Than War, Vive Le Rock, UPSET, DORK, DIY, NME, PROG, Classic Rock, Q Magazine, MOJO, Clash Magazine, Noisey, The Line of Best Fit, Gold Flake Paint, So Young Magazine, and many more.
Whilst we specialise primarily in online and print press coverage for alternative music, we can also work specialist radio and TV plugging and we’ve previously secured track plays and live sessions at BBC Radio 1, BBC6 Music, Radio X, Kerrang! Radio, Team Rock, Total Rock, Amazing Radio, Kerrang! TV, Scuzz TV and MTV.
We're also looking to the future of PR and marketing in the digital age, and working increasingly with editorial teams at digital service providers like Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, VEVO, Soundcloud, and Bandcamp. Introduced in 2019, our new digital marketing services can also help take the hassle out of social media management, and help you to grow your fan base organically, creating meaningful and impactful relationships with your audience, whilst converting interactions and engagement into tangible sales of your music, merchandise, and tickets.
We are always happy to speak about creating tailored campaigns for clients, taking into consideration price and budget, and are flexible on rates for independent and unsigned acts.
