From advising around whether starting a business is the best thing for you to do, to start up and intervention support to existing business. Catalyst Business Solutions also provide FREE ‘Introduction to business and self-employment’ courses across Merseyside. We run the sessions from community based venues across the city and can also ru

n sessions at your own premises as long as we are ensured we have a minimum of 8 attendees. Our sessions generally run a morning or afternoon (3/4 Hours) and take people through the realities of business and self-employment, the gains and pitfalls. By the end of the first session our clients will either be leaving wanting to go full steam ahead, wanting to find out more or deciding its not for them. We can also provide free follow on courses. Our service is ethical and direct; we will ensure our clients are fully aware of the risks or potential pitfalls before they go forward with their new venture. We also offer one to one advice on all aspects of establishing, running and sustaining a business. My name is Darren Guy I have a Gold SFEDI Accredited (the government standard for small business advisers). I have 30 years experience of running my own businesses and supporting the development of hundreds of others including dozens of social enterprises. I have unique experience in developing business were marginalized people are at the Centre of the business. Catalyst Business Solutions can also offer tailored made courses, geared towards the demands or needs of our customers and these can included expert advice and support in relation to all aspects of businesses, including:
