A recent brand design concept for a coffee company ☕️ We took a minimal approach, using a refined typographic logo as the primary focus alongside a distinctive CW monogram inspired by latte art. The flowing shapes create a subtle connection to coffee, movement and craft, while the lowercase typography gives the brand a softer, more welcoming feel.

We explored incorporating the CW monogram directly into latte art, creating a recognisable visual asset that links back to the coffee experience. Paired with a neutral palette and a distinctive muted blue, the identity moves away from the usual browns and earthy coffee tones to create something more contemporary, confident and recognisable.

North Wales Raw Feeds 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 is an independent Welsh business specialising in raw dog food, supplying customers across the UK. As the business moves further into its own NWRF product range, they wanted to move away from the look of a traditional pet food company and create something more modern, lifestyle-led and premium, while still feeling approachable and recognisable. 🐾

We created a playful but premium identity with a customised wordmark, including subtle flicks on the R and W inspired by a wagging dog’s tail. The deeper red palette takes inspiration from Wales, paired with a soft pink for contrast, while bold typography, dog photography and illustration give the brand a flexible, confident look across packaging, social and beyond! ❤️🐶✨

Brand identity design for in Llanbedrog, Abersoch, part of North Wales Holiday Parks 🌊☀️

The brand design centres around a radiant sun mark, capturing the sense of escape and optimism associated with holidays on the Llŷn Peninsula. A subtle C sits at its heart, creating a distinctive symbol that can stand confidently on its own.

The strong serif wordmark brings character and a sense of quality, while the soft blue, sand and cream palette reflects the natural tones of the coast.

Including both Parc Gwyliau and Holiday Park adds local relevance and gives the identity a balanced, established feel, while making sure the brand works clearly for both Welsh and English-speaking audiences.

A look back at some of the early, unchosen concept designs for The Fairway Club ⛳️

These were part of the initial exploration stage, where we tested different ways the brand could look, feel and communicate before refining the direction into the final identity.

The aim throughout was to balance the heritage and credibility of a traditional members club with something more modern, social and relevant to a new generation of golfers.

Not every concept makes the final cut, but exploring different routes is a huge part of building a brand that feels considered, distinctive and right for the client. 🏌️

For the Llandudno Visitor Centre brand identity, we wanted to create something that felt unmistakably connected to the town, welcoming, recognisable and rich in local character. 👋

At the heart of the identity is a bespoke typeface inspired by the iconic “Llandudno Welcomes You” sign, first introduced in the 1930s. We carefully studied the original letterforms, looking closely at their distinctive shapes, proportions and angles. These details were then redrawn and developed into a contemporary typeface that retains the personality of the original sign while working as part of a modern and flexible identity.

Rather than simply reproducing something from the past, we used Llandudno’s visual heritage as the starting point for a new design language. This approach feels familiar without being nostalgic and gives the Visitor Centre an immediate and authentic connection to the town.

The typography is accompanied by a suite of bespoke illustrations celebrating Llandudno’s landmarks, character and sense of place. Together, these elements create a warm and distinctive identity rooted in the town’s history without relying on familiar seaside clichés. 🌊

Designed as a flexible system, the identity works consistently across signage, printed materials, digital platforms and visitor information—helping visitors recognise, navigate and connect with Llandudno from the moment they arrive. 🎡
