Can you believe that in 2026 there are still long standing businesses that don't exist on Google?
It surprises me each time I meet one of these awesome, family run businesses who have been running for 25+ years and don't have an online presence.
Do you remember how it used to be? Need a builder - there's a good one in the pub, he did our cousins extension, I'll see him on Friday night. Everyone knows "steve the plumber". Word of mouth was all you needed and these guys always had enough work to keep them and their sons going.
But online marketing changed that, and sadly for those who didn't migrate their offline reputation online have gradually seen a drop off of local work, placing bigger pressures on winning council tenders and relying on repeat business from returning customers.
So when I see these numbers in just 2 months of taking a long standing plumbing and heating company in Ammanford and ranking them at the top of Google, well it really shows why we do this, why I run this business and what a difference "local SEO services" can make to local businesses who want to show up more and generate new work in a way that works in this modern world.
