I have recently completed a full redesign of the website for Millwood Bowling Club, as part of my web design services.
It was a pleasure to work with a local sports club like Millwood. Despite playing for a different club, I still wanted to ensure their online presence matched the quality of the club itself. Also, I keep things professional when undertaking any work.

Why professional design matters for local clubs?
I often speak with small clubs about why a bespoke website is a worthwhile investment. For Millwood, I focused on three main areas:
1) A Modern First Impression: For many potential members, the website is the first time they interact with the club. It needs to look professional and welcoming.
2) Ease of Access: I’ve made it much simpler for members to find match fixtures, resources, local leagues results and venue hire details.
3) Mobile Functionality: The site is now fully responsive, meaning it works perfectly whether you are viewing it on a laptop or a phone at the green.
A professional website isn't just for large companies; it is about making life easier for your members and your community.
Does your current club's website reflect a modern, forward thinking club? Many community clubs must act more like businesses these days, so online presence is so important.
Does your website look like it was built in the 90s? Websites must use the latest design principles.
Can you easily find information on your current club website? Does it look like it is having a 70s disco on your screen, or is it pleasant to the eye?
