We have a great workflow - we move from general to specific. We love working with briefing, metrics, and analysis - these tools help us set the goal, expose problem areas, and better reveal the essence of what our design needs to solve. And if the stages of briefing, structure, competitor analysis went smoothly, there were still more complex blocks.
Copywriting
We've spent much time preparing to writing the content itself, as API and Proxy services for B2B are not as easy to understand. We've checked all competitors' sites, grasped how they explain the services, converted scattered content ideas into a conscious structure, explained to ourselves in simple words what the product is about and then have described it in a catchy and professional way to Commada's audience.
Concepts
The client didn't have his own vision - and that's absolutely normal. Our task was to understand the vector and narrow it down with our concepts. We've developed more than 10 directions, after a few were chosen and elaborated, and only then the final concept was chosen.
First sketches
This stage has been worked on during the stage of concepts, and believe me this one is the most important. Using just several designed screens, the client begins to feel the vibe of the future website, evaluates visual moves and creative methods. These initial ideas and layouts become a strong foundation that sets the overall style of the entire website.
Graphics
Once we've established the style of graphics in static - it's time to polish the visuals. We like broad styles, when the identity includes different techniques, but they unify the style and work well together. Worth to mention, the difficulty here was to prepare a frame-by-frame Lottie on the services screen of the Home page, which we later tied to the scroll.
The final version came out as a confident and strong website for a technological startup. The design part took us 3 weeks, and the development on Webflow lasted 4 sprints. Today, Commada's team is developing sales, the product itself and expanding into new markets.
