How to use your time efficiently?

If I am completely honest I haven't been able to master this myself, with handling full time work, trying to grow my business and other personal stuff it is really hard to just sit down and organise your time effectively.

I took some time out and as I am more of a visual person, I have ordered a white board, where I will write down the times and steps to take on a day to day basis to make sure I am managing my time properly, getting the work done but not feeling like I'm doing too much.
